Our home

South beach cottage is a private holiday rental and not our home. When guests arrive they always ring or leave a note to say how lovely the house is. Whenever I garden there I want to move in! It is a short stroll down a bicycle path to the beach where there is a restaurant serving breakfast, coffee and lunch. Down the road in cosmopolitan Port city of Fremantle you are spoilt for a choice of good Italian restaurants and cafes. Western Australia, home of good weather, pristine beaches and beautifull wineries. The tropical island of Rottnest just a short ferry ride away. You will fall in love and want to stay.

Who we are

  1. I am a Naturopath and my husband is in finance. We have two private short stay accomodation places in Fremantle that are beautifull. We love to travel and love to help visitors. You will be welcomed and looked after so that your trip is truly memorable. Summer is from December to March and can be very hot ( 30 - 40 degrees celsius) April and May are cooler (like Europe in spring) with temps from 20 to 30 degrees celsius) Winter is about 15 to 20 degrees C and great if you want to go to the Kimberly desert.
Spring is from September to December and fluctuates from 20 to 30 degrees C.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

South Fremantle is on the Indian Ocean within a short bike ride of Fremantle centre. Many Italians moved to Fremantle to take part in the burgeoning fishing industry. Fremantle bursts with european flavours in restaurants around its harbour. The architecture is mostly built from limestone blocks hailing from the days of cheap convict labour. Tour the kimberley or the great southern wine region from Fremantle. Western Australia has the greatest biodiversity in the world. See our still untainted natural landscapes and learn about the dreamtime with Aboriginal elders. We love foreigners as tourism is still not huge here so you will be welcome with open arms and spoilt for choices of things to do.
