Our home

Our holiday apartment has been recently fully renovated. It is fully self-contained, comfortable, with all new appliances, granite bench tops in kitchen and bathrooms, and has a private balcony looking out over the pool, parklands, and Kirra Beach. WiFi is complimentary, there is a DVD player and 8 Foxtel channels. Along with the air-conditioning there are ceiling fans. A starter pack which includes Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Toilet Paper, Shampoo & Conditioner is supplied. The boutique complex is three levels high, our apartment is on the second level, it is a walkup complex with no elevator. There is also one garage car parking space. As this is our 2nd home and a holiday complex under management there is a cleaning cost of $110 on leaving that needs to be paid directly to the on site manager. This can not be avoided as it covers linen hire etc.

Who we are

  1. We are a retired married couple. Phil was a transport manager in the shipping industry and for the last 12 years or so with rail. Sandy was a social worker, working for the last few years with young people and their families. We both enjoyed our working life. Since retired we went travelling in a caravan for two years all around this beautiful, diversified country of ours. It was amazing. We sold up our family home so when we returned we did some house sitting which was also a great experience, to live for a short time in different area's like a local. On one of those house sits we fell in love with a particular area and there we bought our home. We moved in April 2015 and are loving it. We are open to travelling anywhere and can exchange any time. The exchange would not need to be simultaneous. We are non smokers and would ask that our fellow exchangers not smoke in our home. We are also very clean and tidy and would treat your home with utmost respect.
