Our home

We offer a modern solar passive house in one of
the Australian Capital's newest urban suburbs. It has a master bedroom with en suite and open plan family room and a modern kitchen. It has an office (which could be used another bedroom), a double bedroom, a bathroom and a laundry. It has a private native garden that is low maintenance with in-ground watering. There is a double garage with automatic doors. The house backs onto a high nature reserve which provides a vista over Canberra and surrounding districts.

Property features

Who we are

  1. Birthe and I (keith) are close to retirement. I am a government lawyer and Birthe is a psychotherapist. Birthe is a Dane and I speak Danish. We would like to arrange a house exchange in Denmark for a visit to Europe in the middle of this year.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The house is 11km (30min) from the centre of Canberra, 1km (5 mins) from the local shops and 4km (5mins) from a major shopping centre and golf course. Canberra has a plethora of museums, libaries, art galleries, theatres and restaurants both large and small. It is the centre of government. Built around a number or man made lakes Canberra is architectully stunning and a delight to live in and to visit. Beyond Canberra it is 2 hours drive to the coast of New South Wales for swimming and fishing and 2 hours drive to the Snowy Mountains which provides excellent skiing in the winter and walking in the summer.
