Our home

Comfortable, private and homely best describes our home. It has all the comforts and conveniences associated with modern living, yet is conducive to quiet enjoyment. We have a great collection of DVDs, CDs and books for those quiet days between sightseeing. We enjoy al fresco dining and the lovely terrace under shade, with large BBQ and outdoor setting, makes it easy and relaxing. Our garden is easy care and attractive. All in all, our home offers a wonderful base from which to explore central Victoria and a restful retreat to come home to.

Who we are

  1. We are Geoff and Jennifer, both retired and owned by two small poodles. We have grown up children and many grandchildren. Geoff enjoys lawn bowls and socialising with friends. He's a great host and is happiest at home, cooking up a storm on the BBQ. Jennifer loves her garden, reading and computer. She also enjoys entertaining and the company of friends. We have done quite a bit of travel, both in Australia and overseas. We love meeting new faces and exploring new places.

Your neighbourhood

Bendigo in central Victoria forms part of the Golden Triangle of towns established during the goldrush of the 1800s. It has much to offer the tourist, with museums, galleries, fine restaurants, wineries, antique shops, historical buildings and mines. It is within an hour of the Murray River, ninety minutes by car to Melbourne and two hours to Victoria's high country. There are many small towns nearby which offer wonderful markets, craft shops and are a delight to explore. If it's history you enjoy, then consider Bendigo for your next holiday - you won't be disappointed.
