Our home

This air-conditioned 2-storey freestanding house is on the shore of a small lake in the centre of Ballina and close to Byron Bay and the Gold Coast. There are two large double bedrooms with two smaller bedrooms on the top storey. One of the smaller bedrooms has two single beds and one a single bed. There is a balcony overlooking the lake from three of these bedrooms. A study on the ground floor also acts as a fifth bedroom
The kitchen is large and well-appointed with an attached eating area. An entertainment area with TV and audio system is near the kitchen. There is a large formal dining area on the ground floor with views of the lake. The house is 20 years and has been until recently lived in by my elderly parents for all this time. It has recently been painted and had been kept in excellent condition.

Ballina is an important tourist destination a half hour drive south of Byron Bay and one hour south of the Gold Coast. It is also close to large areas of rainforests preserved in state and national parks. A cycleway that connects to the network of cycleways throughout Ballina passes the front of the property.
