Once both parties are ready to agree an exchange, you can click Agree exchange in the exchange discussion.
When both members have clicked Agree exchange you will be able to exchange important information about your property using the Add information for your exchange feature
Your exchange is not agreed until both members have clicked Agree exchange.
You are able to decline any exchange request you receive. Simply enter the exchange conversation and click Decline exchange.
You will have the option to send a friendly message letting the other member know why you are not interested – we encourage you take advantage of this.
If an exchange is already agreed, just get in touch for some help from our team firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are ready to agree an exchange but need to change the dates, simply click Change dates beside Agree exchange.
You will have the option to change the exchange dates and write a personal message to communicate your changes.
After doing so you can click Agree exchange.
Yes. To organise a non-simultaneous exchange click Change dates in a current exchange conversation.
From here open the Exchange dates and un-check the box for Same dates. You will then be able to set your travel dates and different travel dates for the other member.
You can share additional travel information with another member after agreeing your exchange by clicking Add information for your exchange.
This feature allows you to easily share information about those traveling and other details about your home.
You will not be able to click Agree exchange if no dates have been set or the other member has listed their property as Unavailable for the dates you are discussing.
You will not be able to click Agree exchange if you are on a trial, rather than a membership. Likewise you will not be able to Agree an exchange with a trialist.
To change dates after an exchange is agreed, just get in touch with our Membership team at email@example.com.
The Membership team can edit your exchange conversation to reflect any date changes than need to be made.
By agreeing your exchanges you can benefit from the assistance of our Membership team for any queries you have before, during or after the exchange.
Agreeing exchanges also demonstrates commitment and builds trust between members prior to staying in each other's homes.
By agreeing your exchange, you are making a commitment to go ahead with the other member.
After agreement you can share personal, property and travel details using the Add additional trip information tool.
Agreed trips also benefit from the assistance of our dedicated Membership team.
