“If you are lucky enough to be offered a swap to Mary Rose and Jim's house just outside Killorglin I would advise you to take it as you will have a memorable time. This is a beautiful home and I don't think the photographs on the site do it justice as it is very impressive in reality with four large bedrooms, three bathrooms, a fabulous kitchen,a dining room and a very comfortable living room with amazing views. There is also a lovely sitting area upstairs and a large back garden if you have children who like to run around or you want to have a BBQ. Killorglin is a lovely town with plenty of shops and restaurants and it is ideally placed to discover all that the county of Kerry has to offer which is a lot! Highlights for us on this trip were visiting Killarney town, Muckross House, a cruise on Lough Leane, driving the Ring of Kerry, a visit to the Skelligs chocolate factory, Waterville, Derrynane beach, Sneem, Inch beach, Dingle and the Blasket Isalnds interpretive centre which is very special. A trip to the Blasket Islands and a climb up Carrauntoohil Irelands highest mountain was on our to do list but with my 80 year old Mum with us that was not a runner this time :) There is so much to do that we only scratched the surface so you will definitely not be bored in this area. Thanks Mary Rose and Jim for sharing your beautiful home with us and we look forward to you enjoying ours in Tavira in 2020.”

“We had a wonderful exchange with Roser. The apartment was very comfortable and very well located to see all the beauty of Barcelona. The apartment had everything we needed and the Catalan tile floors are amazing. It’s located directly above a bakery, so every morning, the smell of fresh bread wafts up to you. Public transportation is very close by. The apartment is a few blocks from some of the most lovely architecture. Very easy walk downtown to meet up with tours or go shopping. The markets are wonderful. Roser was so helpful in planning the trip. She is easy to contact and quickly responds. She left our home very neat and clean, ready for us to return and took very good care of the property. Great exchange. ”
“We exchanged with Manuela & Muz July 2019, chose Groningen mostly for its vicinity to the waddeneilanden and the good possibilities for "wadlopen". Their house is located in the neighborhood of "de Hunze", an incredibly quiet and peaceful area even for dutch standards. With a bicycle you'll be out into rural Groningen within 10 minutes, as well as reach the city center in a similar time. Groningen itself is one of the best cities to stay in Holland, lively with a large student population, lots of night life possibilities, devoid of "no-go areas", nice non - conflictual atmosphere. The north of Holland (Friesland, Waddeneilanden, Groningen, Drenthe) in our opinion is the best area of Holland; understandably when visiting Holland for the first time people tend to choose the center with all its touristic possibilities - however, we'd very much recommend visiting the north for a second visit, you won't be disappointed. Manuela & Muz's house was spotlessly clean, equipped to the latest standard, very comfortable. They left our house after their stay similarly clean and organised. Communicating with them was easy, quick responses & decisions, helpful, sticking to agreements. So in short, we'd very much recommend a stay in Groningen, and would exchange again with Manuela & Muz anytime !”
“We had a wonderful time at Monique' s place. The appartment is located in a very quiet and safe area of Paris, and the neighbourhood of Butte aux Caille is really charming. Besides the metro line the bus 21 takes you to the centre of Paris in just 15-20 min. Monique and her family were excellent hosts in every way, their appartment was super clean and they took good care of ours... We are feeling like we have made some new friends even if we met them for just 30 minutes! We would strongly recommend them as home exchangers!”
