We found this flat very bright and clean and really well placed for public transport into the city, as well as easy walks to the centre and other interesting districts. It was such a pleasure to discover beautiful Valencia from this base, and to come back to its calmness and coziness. We also enjoyed regular communications with this family by e-mail, which was already very reassuring, and they left us ample information to help us plan our trips and choose our restaurants. They also left our house in Aix en Provence in great shape.

My daughter and I with her 2 sons spent a delightful week in the Capozzella's condo in late March-early May. The location is perfect, just minutes walk to the Village and ski shuttle. (Yes, there was plenty of snow). The office personnel for the condo were incredibly helpful, as well. The condo is most comfortable with a delightful fireplace and the beds very comfortable. The couple clearly treated my home as theirs and took good care of my cat. I highly recommend this exchange.

We are pleased to recommend an exchange with Amanda and David and their children. Their apartment in Perth is charming, warm, cozy, tastefully decorated, bright, quiet and very clean. As it is on two floors it felt much larger than 50 m2. The kitchen is well-equipped and we could pursue our passion for cooking without restrictions. The flat is situated in a green park, 50 m away from the Huntingtower Hotel thus offering delicious food, wonderful afternoon teas, great whiskys in a what we would call truly Scottish and definitely very stylish surrounding. Possibilities of shopping are very close by and open for 24 hours! Just a stone’s throw away is a wonderful footpath for walking, jogging and discovering. It also takes you right into the center of Perth. Perth is a pretty town on the on the riverside of river Tay and it offers all one needs. It is also a very convenient place for reaching the impressive Highlands as well as all the cities in Scotland (i.e. Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, St. Andrews) or the beautiful firths. We even visited the Inner Hebrides and Loch Ness!
Amanda and David are very reliable, helpful and generous persons and easy to get on with. When we arrived we found a warm welcome with a card and gifts of local produce. They also left lots of information where to go and what to see and we could always ask them for hints and advice.
We really found a paradise in Scotland and thank Amanda and David for their hospitality and making our stay special!
Last but not least: Upon our return we found our apartment absolutely immaculate.

The transport system is excellent, with trams and buses a plenty getting you from one place to another in no time at all and the main train station will get you to anywhere you want to be in Switzerland, it is only 2 tram stops from the property or can be walked easily in around 10 minutes. We bought Swiss Rail passes before we arrived and used them well; it was most relaxing doing all our touring without a car!
Paul and Christa’s home was just delightful! It is a centrally located spacious, light city centre apartment. Externally, the property is in a beautiful building and inside has many traditional period features, in addition the furniture, lighting etc, elegantly compliment the interior decor perfectly, and everything has been creatively thought through. The property was very clean and well prepared for our arrival.
We had good communication with Paul and Christa beforehand and during our exchange. They speak and write excellent English, they promptly answered our questions about transport, where to take our kids skiing locally etc, and provided us with information about the property and local area, all in all they were excellent hosts. In addition they left our place in great shape and we can highly recommend this Home Exchange. Thanks Paul and Christa for a great holiday and I hope we will keep in touch.

I had an absolutely splendid week in April 2013 exchanging homes with Gene and Chris Smenos at their beautiful house in Sarasota. From the first email contact, I knew things would go happily and smoothly, and they did, in every respect. I look forward to having them as friends!

The Smenos house is in an enclave in Sarasota called Pelican Cove, which is an extraordinary spot. It is 750 acres of bird sanctuary set in what feels like a botanical garden, with huge beautiful trees everywhere. There are six heated swimming pools scattered throughout the grounds (and tennis courts and an exercise room): guests have the run of the place. I fell in love with Pelican Cove, and might well end up getting a place there myself some day. I was told (by the very friendly and helpful neighbors) that the trees make Pelican Cove quite a bit cooler than the rest of Sarasota – so this might be a good option in summer as well as winter. It’s a destination in itself.
It’s also worth noting that Pelican Cove is in the southern part of Sarasota, quite near to the town of Venice, which has the best beach I have seen on the Gulf Coast (less crowded and mellower than Sarasota’s famous Siesta Key). Venice, which also has a delightful and easy downtown, is less than 20 minutes away.
The Smenos house manages to be both large and cozy, with patios in front and back that make you feel as though you are in the forest (which you sort of are!). It has three bedrooms and is beautifully laid out, with lots of interesting things to look at. Gene and Chris both cook, so the kitchen has everything. Chris even made some wonderful croissants to welcome me and left some oranges grown right at Pelican Cove. Gene and Chris are truly delightful people and it was a pleasure arranging everything with them.
I returned home to find my New York apartment in perfect shape (with home-cooked food in the refrigerator!): I think they spent the whole week just scrubbing my place. I hope the Smenoses and I will exchange often.

Their house is very clean, well kept and organized. Everything we needed for our young children they provided to make our stay as comfortable as can be. We actually had a chance to meet at the airport, which was very nice.
To visit the center of Vienna, public transport is very comfortable. The 43 tram, close to their home, is very efficient, regular and brings you straight into the heart of Vienna in 19 minutes. Also within the center, it is very comfortable to take a tram or metro. We actually bought a week pass in our stay.
We found our home in Amsterdam exactly as we left it. We can truly recommend a swap with David and Verena and since we liked it so much, we might even come back in a few years!

We spent Easter 2013 in Maria's and Juan's house in Benaocaz, and had a wonderful time. The small village is set in one of the most beautiful surroundings of Spain, in the midst of a green, hilly national park spotted with white picturesque villages, lakes, flower and sheep - Spain at its best. The house was comfortable and constitutes an excellent base from which to start your hiking expeditions (several trails start literally at the doorstep). Maria and Juan were excellent hosts, very kind and well organised, providing us with all the information we needed. They also treated our house very well, which we found very tidy when we got back, and with a bottle of Andalucian olive oil left by them as a farewell gift. Recommendable!

THIS apartment and the location are really wonderful: in front of Persian Gulf and Emirates Palace, it looks like you were in a fairy tale;
I should recommend also, for short swap, to write by Internet every time you need.

Very well connected with the slopes & all villages of Courchevel (free bus shuttles)& a perfect location for skiing the Trois Vallees
Very friendly welcome from owners,
Spent lovely relaxing evenings in front of the log fire after splendid days in the mountains.
The chalet is tiny but comfortable, clean and tastefully furnished. Even parking is not an issue as there is space 50 meters away on the main road near the bus stop. An unbeatable location and a warm and comfortable property. We hope Caroline & Bruno like our house as much as we enjoyed theirs. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour!

We had a wonderful holiday in Mercury, just outside Alberville. We drove to Crest Volland every day for skiing, a charming very French resort. The house is modern and has everything you could need. Looking at the mountains while washing up was a treat! Marthe and her family were a pleasure to deal with. They had left us so many thoughtful things and left our house very clean and tidy. Would thoroughly recommend this swap. Thank you very much Marthe & family!!

Better than we expected. The people were a pleasure to work with and the home was just perfect. Postira is a wonderful small town on and incredible island. Just enough time to sit back and relax and also plenty of time to go exploring all around Brac and then take day trips to the mainland to Split, Dubrovnik, Korchula etc. Highly recommend for a truly great vacation
