We were very happy to swap houses with this lovely family from Saint Jean de Braye.
We have already seven years of experience in exchanging homes but we have never seen such an extended, easy to understand documentation with pictures and colors of all the ins and outs of their house.
Unbelievable.

Fabulous exchange address

We were very happy to swap houses with this lovely family from Saint Jean de Braye.
We have already seven years of experience in exchanging homes but we have never seen such an extended, easy to understand documentation with pictures and colors of all the ins and outs of their house.
Unbelievable.
Although we had this nice book with all information one needs to feel easy and happy in a house, they insisted that we should visit them ahead to meet, talk and having dinner together. I can tell you we had a lovely evening together with an extended dinner. This family is so generous and kind and their home reflects all their good qualities.
This exchange was fabulous for us because we wanted to bike along the Loire river and stroll in Orleans and Paris. And… we prefer to live in a small quiet town and we can tell you that Saint Jean de Braye is nice and quiet.
In the centre of the village there is an easy access to public transportation. The tram brings you every 5 to 7 minutes to the center of Orleans at low cost. We discovered also the region and they made this so easy by providing us with so many maps and ideas, as well as by stocking their home with food and wine! Their children are all 3 so kind and courteous and respectful. The people in the area were very kind and helpful in all situations.
This family took excellent care of our home in the Netherlands. Our house was in a perfect condition when we came back.
We recommend exchanging with them not only for the house and region but just for the pleasure of knowing this family.

Fabuleuse maison du début du XXème siècle dans laquelle nous avons passé de belles journées à lézarder dans le jardin, à l'ombre des arbres, ou lorsque les soirées se faisaient plus fraîches, au coin d'un bon feu de cheminée. Pour nous, ce fut un luxe d'allier ainsi campagne et offre culturelle de Paris en un seul et même échange. Les enfants, quant à eux, ont trouvé leur bonheur parmi les multiples B.D. et autres livres mis gentiment à leur disposition et personnellement, j'ai adoré la décoration intérieure colorée et chaleureuse. Encore merci de votre hospitalité, Cécile et Denis !

We exchanged last winter with this family (Dec 2012), and what can I say, they are lovely people. We love their place, it was more than perfect for our family, peace and pleasure stay, in a perfect location at the Sunshine Coast, waves, sun, beaches, the best option for a warm winter holiday, and mild summer.

We exchanged with this family in Dec 2012 and had the joy of getting to know them before they moved into our house for two months. Our lives are richer from meeting them and their family both here and in Spain, where we were cared for like family. The complex is close to both Majadahonda township where there really is everything you could possibly need of very high standards, as well as easy bus, train or drive into Madrid - what a magical city, even in the middle of winter. There is very easy access to motorways and the airport as well as intercity train connections. Everyone, including the neighbours were extremely helpful and friendly which contributed to an amazing holiday.

L'appartement est convivial et fonctionnel et la station familiale et très agréable. Nos hôtes sont pour leur part venus chez nous en décalé, au mois d'avril, et tout s'est très bien passé ! Nous nous réjouissons de cet échange et vous le recommandons !

We have had the pleasure to have our first home exchange experience in Sao's house.
She is a very warm, welcoming person who would do anything to make you feel at home. Her son even picked us up at the airport to show us around the house. The house has everything you need and is near the city center of Porto. There's a lot of nice things to see and do around Porto (beaches, views, port-wine tastings, the city centre etc). We also had a car exchange and that way we could easily see a lot of the area. Unfortunately the weather was very bad when we where in Portugal but we still enjoyed our holiday a lot.
Thanks again Sao for the pleasant stay in you comfortable home.

We have had the pleasure to have our first home exchange experience in Sao's house.
She is a very warm, welcoming person who would do anything to make you feel at home. Her son even picked us up at the airport to show us around the house. The house has everything you need and is near the city center of Porto. There's a lot of nice things to see and do around Porto (beaches, views, port-wine tastings, the city centre etc). We also had a car exchange and that way we could easily see a lot of the area. Unfortunately the weather was very bad when we where in Portugal but we still enjoyed our holiday a lot.

Your place was wonderful to stay in and so close to everything like the supermarket on the corner, the bus stop right outside the apartment. It was so easy to get around Amsterdam. We loved being in your city. Amsterdam is beautiful and so full of history and places to see, the great museums of art, the walking along side the canals, having coffee beside the canal or a cold beer... just wonderful. Amsterdam is unique, a great place to visit with lovely shops all over and the buildings are so unique. You can see how the city developed. The canal system is amazing and taking a tour boat around was interesting - we recommend doing this. Overall, your place was so clean and well kept and with all the things one needs. It was for us a pleasure to come home after walking all over Amsterdam during the day. So once again "thank you" for your hospitality!

Exchanging homes with the Gambrell's was a wonderful experience! They are such a friendly, kind couple who we got to know before the exchange. Their beach house was in a great location, just a five minute walk to the gorgeous Gulf beach. It is a laid back area with lots of great restaurants, nightly entertainment, and many fun things for a family to do. The house itself was perfect for our family of four. It was very comfortable, tastefully decorated, and had everything we could possibly need for our beach vacation. We look forward to exchanging with the Gambrells in the future!

Pernille and her family were great exchange partners. The planning was very easy and the apartment has a fabulous location in beautiful Copenhagen. We especially liked the quiet, friendly neighbourhood with shops, cafe's, bakeries and restaurants close by.
The apartment is bright, cosy and nicely furnished and the kitchen is well equipped, we felt at home right away!
We borrowed their car to go to lovely Louisiana and their Christianiabike to get around the city.
Pernille and her family left us ample information to help us plan our trip and left our home in Stockholm very nice and clean.
We had a great time and highly recommend an exchange with them.
We hope to get the chance to exchange with them again.
