This is really a wonderful region: history, churches, ermitas, high mountains directly descending to the sea, green hills and beautiful and lonely beaches! Everywhere beautiful walking paths where you often cross peregrinos of the "Camino de Santiago de Compostela".
The apartment of Isabel is very well located in the nice village of Colombres and perfectly furnished. We had known them last year in Italy and we have been very happy to meet them again in Asturias: a very nice and helpful family who gave us a lot of good advices and also a great lunch in their beautiful country home in Pendueles.
There were so many things to see and villages to visit that we didn't move more than 50km around Colombres. We should come back one day! Thank you Isabel, Juan, Ana and Paula!

We were in the house of Laurence in May, a full week. Unless the fact that our daughter had to study for her exams, and that the weather was not so well the first days - we had a wonderful stay. The house is very pleasant. A woodburner, high ceilings, view on the river, lots of sofa's for everybody to nestle oneself. When the sun at last decided to show itself, the garden and terrace were welcoming us. Perfect place!

Elisabeth.

We went for one week to the house of this family.
Their house is very close to the Arc de Triomph. It is very spacious and cosy.
A nice, quite and save neighbourhood the apartment is situated in.
We went jogging in the morning and within 5 a 10 min. we were at the Eifeltower.
Pâquerette and Sebastian left us very good info so we could find our way in Paris very easy.
Thank you very much. We really had a great time.
With kind regards,
Patrick, Jennifer, Nova and Bram

The perfect beach retreat in a cozy home where the air is fresh and clean, the beach is close by, restaurants and infrastructure close by. We spent many hours relaxing on the beach, only a few minutes away. Evenings were spent relaxing on the porch with red wine and good food. This is an ideal place for quite time away from a hectic schedule.
This home is ideally located on the Costa Blanca. The cities of Cartagena and Murcia are close by. Many short day trips were within an easy hour drive.
The house is spotless clean and well equipped for a comfortable stay. The owner could not have been more gracious or helpful when it came to preparing for our stay. This was a wonderful exchange and I fully recommend it.

We spent two marvelous weeks in this wonderful home. The area is filled with interesting things to do and everything is possible in the day trip: the glass houses mountains for hiking, Noosa to see dolphins, Montville for the beauty of the city, the Eumundi market and more. The only problem of the day was to choose between the gorgeous beach and the pool (we understood why the region called Sunshine coast).
The house has delightful decoration and the owners are very friendly and absolutely reliable hosts.

Sabine and Rune recently swapped apartments with us. Their home is lovely and is right in the center of everything in the city. It was perfect for us. Sabine even met us at the metro station when we arrived so that we would not be confused trying to find it. We found recommendations for restaurants and attractions in the lovely apartment. A great experience for us.

We just returned from a wonderful visit to Germany. Hans and Antje were kind enough to agree to a long term trade with us and it turned out to be one of our most fascinating exchanges.
First a few comments on Dresden. It is an amazing, historical city with a plethora of interesting sites and museums. I can't really say which venue was my favorite because there are so many wonderful things to see , but don't miss the VW factory....Yolanda loved the "Zwinger Museum" and shopping (of course).

Dresden is full of excellent restaurants , great shopping stores and wonderful walks.
Public transportation is extremely efficient and close to the house. Just a 3 block walk to the tram that runs right into old town Dresden and the main train station.......all for a 2 Euro ticket.
Hans and Antje's home is within walking distance of some very good restaurants and just a short drive from the closest market.
Their home is a jewel in a very quiet upscale neighborhood , situated on a hill above old town Dresden. What a cool home !!!! They have it decorated in a wonderful eclectic mix of exotic treasures (probably collected from their extensive travels),bright cheerful paintings and décor. We kept discovering new and interesting things in every room.........Oh and , by the way , we found ourselves without headphones for our SKYPE calls....we just used the headphone that were on "Fred" , the mannequin in the living room. Thanks "Fred".
The home is modern ,bright and upscale , two levels......an elevator leads right up to the living room. All the modern and high quality facilities and utilities one could need....all very comfortable.....all this and a view of old town Dresden from the front window.
Hans and Antje have been very kind and considerate during the entire trade process and have even kept us up to date with their travels and experiences. They were very respectful with regards to our home and left it in the very best condition........with the exception of the "thank you" note you would not know that they had been here.
I hope that we can always remain friends.........Thank you so much Hans and Antje.
