We did this as a non simultaneous exchange. Simone and Cinzia stayed in our Torrox apartment in July 2012 and we stayed in Calasetta in May 2013. They are a delightful couple to exchange with and left our home in excellent order. Their house in Calasetta is in a lovely location. A very spacious house, much bigger than it looks in the pictures with a courtyard in front which gets sun all day. We loved the balcony off the bedroom. We loved the balcony off the bedroom. It is their holiday home and is set up as such. We arrived to find it spotlessly clean with everything than we needed and more. The house is located about 7 minutes walk (10 minutes to main square) from town and 12 minutes walk to the beach. A car is ideal to get the most from a stay here. We found the area very quiet and tranquil in May. We loved Calasetta, a real gem of a town with a beautiful, natural marina, full of character with a nice laid back, friendly feel to it. There are a good selection of excellent, restaurants and eating out is extremely cheap. An enormous pizza can be 5 euros and cappuccinos around 1.10 euros, The local beaches are superb and unspoilt with white sand. and there are some great clifftop walks. The second town on the peninsular is St Antioco which also is characterful with a beautiful tree lined main street. St. Antioco has a larger range of shops and a Lidl. There is a ferry boat to the island of Carloforte. There are more superbbeaches and beautiful scenery at the south of Sardinia and the city of Cagliari is 90km away. We wished we had booked 2 weeks here as there is so much to see and do. We will definitely return and hopefully do another exchange with Simone and Cinzia as we have another Spanish apartment to offer them.

We had a lovely time in the house of Marion, Nico and their two daughters. It is cosy, has lots of books(in English and dutch) as well as quirky and artistic decorative touches. We give high marks for their luxury and original bathroom. Their cat is great! The house is situated at an easy walking distance from the train station and even nearer to the city centre, next to a working windmill. The paved garden has many colorful pots and plants.

Haarlem is a beautiful city, easy to enjoy with lots of museums, “hofjes”, cafés, restaurants and nice shops. The beach is near and Amsterdam only 20 minutes by a train that goes every 10 minutes. We also cycled an afternoon in the green wetlands that surround the city. A tiny ferry took us to the other side of a canal with the bicycles, that was a special treat.
We had an easy e-mail contact before and after the exchange and the family left our house spotlessly clean. We highly recommend this exchange and we wouldn't mind coming back at all!

It was nice to stay at Jennifer's home. The place is located in a quiet area, not too far from Amsterdam by train. Lucky us, it was a sunny week. We went on the beach even if it was freezing because it's a really nice place to walk.I would recommend this house which is maybe too small for a family of 6 as we are.

The first week of May 2013 we exchanged with this lovely family. We didn't meet each other but had good contact through email and telephone. The house of Marianne and Matthijs was comfortable, clean, shiny and friendly. Our children had a lot of fun in their garden. The nearest shops were only a couple of minutes away by bike, the city center 10 minutes. Goes and its surroundings are beautiful and ideal for cycling. We asked if there was a baby bed available for our youngest son, it was no problem, they organized one for us. After the week we found our house neat and tidy. Thanks to Marianne and Matthijs, also for the bolussen!
