We've been really lucky having them next door at the time.We've done many different things together which allowed us to enjoy their company to practice English, to know the places in the best way, including the possibility of sailing, bathing in the river and falls and many more things.
We'll never forget the sounds of birds, the tropical fruits we got from their trees...
I'd like my English to be more fluent to describe this exchange in the right terms.

Our stay in David and Beate's apartment in Tenerife has been really nice.
All in the apartment is perfect.
We really appreciate having David taking us from the airport very late at night and back again very early in the morning, as well as all the help we got from them.

I've spent a nice holiday with my family in August 2011 at the home of Corinne in Sainte-Helene-du-Lac. It is very comfortable and well situated. From there we could go through the region of Savoie, to the Alps and to Switzerland by car.

We had an unforgeable skiing vacation in Renate's and Werner's chalet
near Kitzbuel in Austria. We arrived late night, with heavy snowing and -15 Celsius and we found a warm sweat home, with food in the fridge and Bordeaux wine. Next morning, the pictures from the windows were amazing!! The forest around, the white mountains covered by a shining blue sky! All these typical Tyrolian beautifulness outside the door. The house is in good position for many excursions in the area and, of course, just 5 minutes by car, from the lifts. We were lucky to make our first winter exchange with Renate's chalet, and thanks to Werner's X5 BMW you could see everything around. We fully recommend this house to everyone who loves nature.

Access to Brisbane downtown is convenient and thanks to Heather's precious and friendly help we have learned how to discover and like her area.
If we come again to Australia we know where to stay once more a time.

We spent over two weeks in Firat and Valerie's house which is in a great location, on the edge of a village, not far from the lovely city of Narbonne and surrounded by vineyards and beautiful countryside. The house is big and well equipped and we enjoyed the pool most days, when not at the beach. It was my first exchange and while we did not have a contract, which I think is a good idea,it worked out fine. When we met the family they were all really lovely and have very good English which was a great help during correspondence. A very enjoyable experience and a lovely part of France,

Un magnifique, spacieux et très accueillant appartement au centre de Paris, le métro direct qui vous mène en 10 min sur le Champ de Mars (Tour Eiffel) se trouve a quelques pas de l’immeuble. Blandine et Fabien sont super gentils et disponibles. Avant notre week-end nous avons échangé des nombreux mails afin d’organiser au mieux notre séjour. Encore une fois de plus…. UN GRAND MERCI pour tout.

We did an home exchange with Germaine in July 2011 (two adults and one child). Everything was perfect: the apartment is comfortable, well located (near the subway, beach, grocery, restaurants,coffees). The building is quiet and safe, the pool is amazing! Germaine had prepared a manual of her house and surroundings that is very well. We keep a very good memory of this trip.

We had the most wonderful time staying at Judy and Phil's home in Sydney. The house is just a short way from Sydney city centre, the harbour and beaches. We arrived in Sydney music festival week and have to say this is one of the best exchanges we have ever done. The house is compact but had everything needed to make our stay so enjoyable. Judy was very thoughtful leaving provisions for us and giving us a range of information to help with our stay. Transport was a short walk away - we could have managed without the car we hired. The nearby park was a delight with flying foxes enthralling us at night and we loved having a BBQ on the patio. We would not hesitate to recommend this very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated house for an exchange. We only wish we could have stayed longer.
