| Accommodation insurance |
| Provides reimbursement for paying for alternative accommodation in case your exchange partner cancels the home exchange agreement for illness or other specific unforeseen circumstances within 6 months of the start of your exchange. |

| Coverage |
| Benefits will be paid up to the maximum benefit amount which can be applied towards alternative accommodation in or near your original destination. Persons eligible for insurance under the policy are any traveler(s) who purchases the Accommodation Insurance through HomeForExchange.com. |
| The insured is covered for cancellations by the exchange partner due to any of the following unforeseen circumstances: |
| 1) sickness, injury or death of one or more members of your exchange partners, their immediate family member, or business partner. Injury or Sickness must be so disabling as to reasonably cause the planned exchange to be canceled, or interrupted. If your exchange partner must cancel or interrupt the planned exchange with your party due to injury or sickness of an immediate family member, it must be because their condition is life-threatening, or because the immediate family member requires your exchange partner's care. Cancellations due to the death of an immediate family member are covered; |
| 2) a covered sickness or injury involving one of your exchange partners, which necessitates medical treatment at the time of cancellation and results in medically imposed restrictions, as certified by a legally qualified physician, which prevents your exchange partner(s) to participate in the planned exchange; |
| 3) your exchange partner being hijacked, quarantined, required to serve on a jury (notice of jury duty must be received after the effective date) served with a court order to appear as a witness in a legal action in which your exchange partner is not a party (except law enforcement officers); |
| 4) your exchange partners principal place of residence being rendered uninhabitable by burglary, fire, flood, volcano, earthquake, hurricane or other natural disaster after the effective date; |
| 5) your exchange partner being directly involved in a traffic accident, which must be substantiated by a police report; |
| 6) felonious assault of your exchange partner within 10 days of the scheduled departure date; |
| 7) your exchange partner is in the military and called to emergency duty for a national disaster other than war; |
| 8) involuntary employer termination or layoff affecting your exchange partner during the covered exchange period. Employment must have been with the same employer for at least 3 continuous years; |
| 9) a Terrorist Incident that occurs in a city listed on the itinerary of your exchange partner's covered exchange and within 7 days prior to your exchange partner's scheduled departure date. This same city must not have experienced a Terrorist Incident within the 60-day period prior to your exchange partner's effective date under this policy; |
| 10) revocation of your exchange partner's previously granted leave or re-assignment due to war. Official written revocation/ re-assignment by a supervisor or commanding officer of the appropriate branch of service will be required; |

| Provided such circumstances occurred after you have fully paid the policy premium and the home exchange contract between you and your exchange partner has been finalized. |

| The following limitation applies to the Accommodation Insurance: all cancellations must be reported by the insured to HomeForExchange.com prior to the starting date of the actual exchange period. |

General exclusions Coverage is not provided as a result of: |
| (a) intentionally self-inflicted injury or any attempt at an intentionally self-inflicted injury, suicide, or |
| (b) pregnancy or childbirth, or elective abortion, other than the complications of pregnancy; |
| (c) participation in professional athletic events, motor sport, or motor racing, including training or practice for the same; |
| (d) mountain climbing; |
| (e) war or act of war, whether declared or not, civil disturbance, riot, or insurrection |
| (f) operating or learning to operate any aircraft, as student, pilot, or crew; |
| (g) air travel on any air-supported device, other than a regularly scheduled airline or air charter company; |
| (h) loss or damage caused by detention, confiscation, or destruction by customs; |
| (i) any unlawful acts, committed by the Insured, Immediate Family Member, or a Traveling Companion, whether |
| (j) mental, psychological or nervous disorders including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, neurosis or psychosis; |
| (k) alcohol or substance abuse or treatment for same; |
| (l) experimental or investigative treatment or procedures; |
| (m) an injury or sickness which occurs at a time when this coverage is not in effect. |
