Well maintained detached family home in attractive village setting, close to the market town of Cowbridge. Recently extended, 4 bedroom (plus guest sitting room/bedroom with shower room), 3+ bathrooms, one with jacuzzi bath. Light neutrals, contemporary style interior, with all usual mod cons; 3D and satellite TV/VCR/DVDs, Music and Computers with broadband internet access. Kids/teen stuff - PS3/Xbox/Wii. Large open-plan kitchen/dining, utility, two sitting rooms, office. Our friendly cats would appreciate feeding but the frogs and goldfish in small higher-ground garden pond are self sufficient! Road and mountain bikes available, tennis rackets and golf clubs.

Easy access to M4 motorway (6 mins). Well established country style gardens. Next to village tennis courts, childrens playground, woodland walks and open fields. Good village pubs serving local ales and hot food. Good choice of local golf clubs. Two miles to the market town of Cowbridge -pretty shops, antiquities, art galleries, restaurants. Only 20 mins drive to Cardiff and the exciting Cardiff Bay area with its bayfront restaurants, shops, theatres, museums, water activities. Bristol(UK-South West)- 45 mins drive. We are a family of four, Rob & Val - with our children Tom age 15 and Chloe age 14. We love travelling and have already enjoyed very successful exchanges with families in Perth WA, France, Sanibel(Florida)and Spain. Rob works for a Pharmaceutical company and Val is a Media Consultant(TV). For most holidays we especially love sun, swimming, snorkelling, BBQs and a good choice of restaurants. We are used to travelling as a family and would treat your home with respect. In exchange we can offer a clean, modern, well maintained family house. Non-smoking please. Now looking for 2012 exchange to hot country. Need to exchange during UK school hols - July/August. We have a great support network of friends and family who can help exchangers on arrival and during their stay. Local babysitters available. Car exchange may also be a possibility.
