We are 30 minutes from the border with England and on the wonderful Conwy Marina in beautiful North Wales, land of medieval castles, golf courses, stunning mountain scenery and fabulous beaches and a short ferry journey to Ireland in 90 minutes. From our home it is a short walk to the beach, fabulous pub with restaurant and the first tee at the championship links course of Conwy where the Ryder Cup Seniors played in 07 & 08. We've also included our holiday home on Conwy Marina with views of the golf course from the 2nd bedroom, sleeping 4 in 2 bedrooms with 1.5 bathrooms, furnished to the same standard with everything listed in our main home. This is also available for rent.

Our neighborhood
We are in the ideal location to tour magical and mystical North Wales and a short journey in any direction takes you to medieval castles, empty beaches, mountains and stunning scenery. Set on the wonderful Conwy Marina we are a two minute walk to the first tee at Conwy Golf Club (voted Welsh Club 2007) www.conwygolfclub.com, sandy beaches and pub restaurant. A 15 minute walk takes you into medieval Conwy (a World Heritage Site) with it's 13th Century castle and pretty harbour and the smallest house in the UK. Conwy is the perfect area to discover North Wales as it is the gateway to the 800 square mile Snowdonia National Park, home to the highest peak in England and Wales. We are 70 miles from Manchester International Airport (an easy 1 hour car journey) or Liverpool Airport. A trip to Ireland is very quick as the ferry port of Holyhead is only a 40 minute drive from Conwy with the fast ferry to Dublin taking 90 minutes. London can be reached in 3 hours via direct train from Conwy also. The Roman City of Chester is a 30 minute drive as is the Island of Anglesey, designated an area of outstanding natural beauty. Liverpool is a 1 hour drive for fans of The Beatles. There are many highly recommended restaurants nearby, numerous medieval castles and golf courses and a drive in any direction takes you to wonderful scenery, sandy beaches & great hiking and bike trails. We are Stephen and Anne both hovering around the half century mark with no children and are non smokers. We run our holiday lettings company and health & hygiene business from home in Conwy. We will respond to all emails and would very much appreciate if you could do the same. A 4x4 is available as part of the exchange and golf clubs if you play. We have done very successful previous exchanges to the US (5) Ireland & Denmark. We are also looking for long weekend breaks in the UK.  = marks the location of this home
