Our neighborhoodIdeally located in the suburbs of a smaller city on the western edge which is toward the mountains. This is an agricultural area known for the growth of apples, pears, cherries and other tree fruits and is irrigated in summer to make it a paradise of greenery. Snow capped mountains lie to the west where hiking trails abound and vistas are ample for the photographer. Wine tasting is a growth industry in the valley with a vast wine grape growing business and new tasting rooms are all around.

Something about ourselvesI am a retired attorney and my wife is a retired teacher. We have a pet, Brogan, a soft coated wheaton terrier who gives us great pleasure. In the event of an exchange, our pet would be left with friends for care and would not be a burden on guests. We love to travel, play golf and garden, and often we have a project around the house. We enjoy crafts and hobbies with Joyce sewing, scrapbooking, and painting in water color. I work with wood and copper in various ways. We are avid readers and enjoy our Church. Two children are grown, married and live in other cities. Our neighbors are friendly and would be happy to give you aid and direction for any needs.
