Our home features a beautiful western view of Lake Washington, Seattle's skyline with the Olympic Mountains in the background. Designed to maximize the view, the kitchen, living room, dining room, and master bedroom all feature full length windows overlooking the water. Bald Eagles sometime perch on nearby trees as sailboats glide by. The architechture is Asian inspired, and our home is furnished in a minimalist style, emphasizing elegance and comfort. We would consider including the use of one our cars, a VW bug convertible, or a Hybrid SUV if that would be helpful.

We live in Bellevue, a 15 min drive from downtown Seattle. Bellevue has been growing quickly, due in part to the number of technology companies like Microsoft, Nintendo and Expedia, which call Seattle's eastern suburbs home. We live a 5 minute walk from a beautiful old park on the beach, and a 20 minute walk from Bellevue Square. Bellevue Square features many nice restaurants and world class shopping. Seattle/Bellevue is perfectly positioned as a base for exploring the surrounding mountains/ lakes/oceans, and sports as varied as skiing, hiking, sailing, scuba diving. Seattle, a ten minute drive from our home, is a vibrant city, full of great museums, a multitude of wonderful restaurants, and lots of beautiful water and mountain views. Something about ourselves

We are Bill and Judy, Pacific Northwest natives. With the exception of 3 years living in Germany early in our marriage, we have lived in this area for 30+ years. Bill has a consulting business focusing on second half of life issues, and Judy is consultant working with health care leaders across the country. Additionally, Bill has been a freelance travel writer for over 10 years, and so we have been lucky to travel to many wonderful places around the world. We love meeting new people from other countries and cultures, and as we move into pre-retirement, we are interested in the opportunity to travel even more.
