Shopping delights, restaurants and golf courses all adveretised in a book full of maps and experiences to help you plan your day...or not! Beach chairs, novels or yoga make relaxing alternatives. The Cottage is fully equipped...all you need is your toothbrush but we have those too.

Located in a quiet river community at the ferry landing. Champaign and chocolates upon arrival and a first breakfast provided. Free guest pass to State River Park Planation house and working farm. Wonderful walking/biking trails with river beach (5 miles from cottage). Olympic size swimming pool at State river park (265 acres). Pool charge is additional to Owner's Guest Pass. Chef, masseuse, photographer--resources available (by prior arrangement). Five miles from Surry Courthouse for quick needs and a world of resources in Williamsburg. Fifty minutes from Norfolk, 50 minutes from Richmond. Airports in both places and inbetween in Newport News.

Carol has a dual background in real estate and mental health. She currently works with disabled mentally ill adults teaching them independent living skills so they may become as productive and independent as possible. She loves photography of wild life and rescues animals in distress believing that all living things share this planet for the enjoyment of each another and must be respected and treated with humane caring.
John is supposed to be retired but enjoys helping people divide land for their children and help people through the government permit process to build. He was a Federal Conservation Specialist.
