We are surrounded by beauty, animals and a bonty of activity options. Our home sits in a three acre park like setting. You can enjoy the creek from your backyard, patio, bedrooms or one of the many decks. If the sun is too hot on the south deck move to the gazebo to the north or the garden deck to the front of the house.
We start each day in search of woodland visitors! We enjoy deer, turkey, the heron, Hank, a pair of magnificent bald eagles and an occasional owl. We end each day with a glass of wine, a bar-b-q dinner, the babble of the creek and a vast star filled sky.
Our home is large, comfortable and appealing. We have just completed a kitchen and dining room remodel featuring state of the art appliances, solid surface counter tops and onyx backsplash. All new carpet throughout. There are plenty of windows in the sunny spacious living room as well as a fireplace. Enjoy a jacuzzi tub and shower upstairs and a large bath with shower down. Your master bedroom is privately situated on the top floor while the two remaining bedrooms down enjoy privacy as well. The family room has a fireplace and big screen tv.
For further enjoyment relax in the sauna or enjoy a movie on your 10 foot theatre screen while munching on popcorn from the in house popper. Take a 10 minute drive to two gorgeous lakes where you can enjoy fishing, water sports or swimming. There you will also find miles of the Mickelson and Centennial hiking trails or drive 20 minutes to Deadwood, taking a step back in into the old west and try your luck gambling as did the likes of Buffaloe Bill and Calamity Jane.
Our most famous sight is Mount Rushmore 20 minutes to the south. It is near the buffalo filled Custer State Park which is a must see. There are numerous parks to enjoy with a wide variety of scenery and wild life.
Rapid City is about 10 minutes away and has all the shopping you will need. Rapid is a small town of character and interest. The tiny town of Sturgis grows to 100's of thousands every August when they host a world famous motorcycle rally. There is a street dance on Thursdays in the summer with a variety of food vendors. For children Storybook Island is free and full of the likes of Winnie the Pooh and Cinderella.

At 55, my husband Bill and I are thankful every day for the paradise the Lord has given us to live in!
