Our home is comfortable, clean and spacious. We are centrally located to all that Charleston has to offer! The beaches are 20 minutes away. Downtown, historic Charleston is 20 minutes away as well as great shopping areas only 15 minutes away! Our home is located on a quiet cul de sac. We are on a marsh front lot with views of the Intercoastal Waterway from our back deck. Our home is very open and welcoming. When you enter, there is an office to your left and the dining room will be on your right. Walk further into the home, and you will find our large den which overlooks the large deck and marsh views. The den flows into the kitchen which has all of the amenities you would need: gas stove, microwave, oven, ice machine, and a very large Butler's pantry. We have a breakfast nook off of the kitchen. The master is located on the main floor. It is tucked back from the den. Adjoining bathroom, with shower and separate jacuzzi tub leads into the very large master closet with the laundry located right next to the closet. There is a water closet located on the main floor as well.
The second floor offers two more bedrooms as well as a large media room. (For any families with children considering our home, our son has a "secret room" in his bedroom. It is located behind a bookshelf and is a huge hit with the kids!) The media room is large and is a great retreat for anyone wanting some space (or a different TV program!). We have a DVD player in the master, den, and media room. There is also a Wii upstairs.
The large deck is just fabulous to soak up the beautiful Charleston weather. We have an outdoor dining area as well as comfortable seating to kick back and relax.
We keep our house clean at all times (my husband says I am a bit of a neat freak!). We have two wonderful (lazy) dogs who we would love to travel with, but it is not a necessity. We can make arrangements for them. If you have dogs that you would like to bring, let me know. We may be able to work something out.
We also have a boat and boat trailer that you could use while staying here.
Oh and for anyone that travels with a RV or boat, we also have a storage area where you could keep it while here.

Parks galore on the island as well as excellent trails and walking areas.
We have wonderful neighbors who are there to help with anything you may need. We have a clubhouse and pool as well as playground for the kids. There is a fire place, grill and seating area at the pool where you could spend the day (or evenings) grilling out while sitting by the wonderful fire.
We also have family here who would be more than happy to help you while you are here. We have several guide books and to dos while here. My husband and I have been married for 10 years. We have one son who is 6. We have two great dogs that try to exert as little energy as possible!! I grew up in Charleston. We moved back here about 8 years ago. My husband owns a chemical/environmental company. For the past 6 years, I have been what some call a "domestic engineer." I love it, but I would definitely say I have had easier jobs!
We love to travel and anything outdoors. My husband is an avid cyclist, and I just do a little bit of everything! Riding horses has been my passion, but it has been put on the back burner for a bit while I spend some time being a Mom!
Due to my son's school schedule, we are really only available in the summer months (June through August) and the Christmas season. We will always entertain a short swap (7-10 days) as that can constitute as our vacation time!
