Our condo is located in the naturally landscaped, Wild Dunes gated community on the Isle of Palms outside Charleston, South Carolina. Charleston was named the number one travel destination in the world by Conde Mast Magazine for 2013. This 1,218 sq. ft. second-home condo overlooks the lagoon and fourth green of the nationally ranked Links Golf Course. Often, an alligator can be spotted in the Lagoon. The ocean is a 5 minute/one and a half block walk away. This upstairs unit is tastefully decorated and consists of two bedrooms with each having its own balcony, the master bedroom has a king size bedroom suite and the other has two double beds. Each bedroom has a TV with CD/VCR and bathroom with tub and shower. In addition, there is a large living/dining room with two couches, dinner seating for 8, a queen-sized sofa bed, and large picture window; and a kitchen complete with ceramic tiled floor, dishwasher, electric stove, refrigerator, washer and dryer. The Lagoon Villa grounds provide a swimming pool, large deck along the lagoon containing swing and benches, running/biking trail, and ample parking. The beach at low tide is extremely wide (60-70 feet) providing packed sand for walking, running, and biking, as well as loose sand for sand castle building. Bicycles are available. If you desire, we can arrange housekeeping or laundry service upon your departure. We are open to all possible exchanges with emphasis upon North America. We will respond to all emails and will do everything possible to make your visit to Charleston as pleasant as possible. Occasionally, we travel with another retired couple.
