We also have xm radio. The kitchen is small but the appliances are modern. There is a laundry room off the hall and a bathroom. One bedroom which is a double bed with a small bay window. The other bedroom has twin poster beds. In the back is a garden with flowers and a place to grill. Eagles Mere was established at the turn of the century as a vacation community, called the Town which Time Forgot. A gem not known to many. Located in the Endless Mountains of Pennsylvania it sits at 2,200 feet. Located on Route 42,40 minutes northeast of Williamsport and close to Laporte and Dushore. It is a quiet community. It is near World's End State Park and Ricketts Glen State Park, excellent hiking and many waterfalls. Eagles Mere lake is one mile across, great fishing, swimming and canoeing. No motor boats allowed. In the Winter, there can be cross-country skiing as well as ice skating on the outlet pond and conditions permitting a Tobaggan slide. By going to Eagles Mere.com you will be able to access information about the town. A car is a must to get around the area. Something about ourselves

Barbara the owner of the home is a retired Occupational Therapist, who keeps busy doing quilting and other creative projects. Terry Wild, her partner, is a professional photograper in Willliamsport where he has his home, so we are able to have a place to go when Eagles Mere is in use. Non-simultaneous exchanges are optional. We both are members of The Artists on the Green, a gallery in Eagles Mere. There is a museum, small but wonderfully executed depicting the way Eagles Mere use to be. There is a fun Sweet Shop for family food and ice cream, opened in the summer full-time and weekends in the Winter. ![]()
