Description of our house

This tastefully decorated and comfortable NYC apartment is in a nice building and has doormen 24 hours a day. The apartment has three bedrooms, living and dining rooms, and two full baths. It sleeps six people. It is very comfortable for eating, entertaining, reading, relaxing, and using the computer. There is WiFi internet access. It's well decorated with artifacts we have collected from our travels in South America, Africa, and Asia. The kitchen is spacious enough to prepare food and seats two for eating. Larger groups can eat in the dining room. Many people say it is one of the most welcoming, gracious apartments they have ever been to.

The apartment is located on a safe, quiet street one block from Riverside Park, four blocks from Central Park, and four from historic and beautiful Columbia University. Residents of our neighborhood are families, young couples, students, and elderly of many ethnicities as is New York City. It is safe at night and during the day. With bus and subway stops one block away, you can reach Lincoln Center in 10 minutes for classical music, opera, ballet, shopping, and restaurants. Times Square is a 15 minute subway ride for theatre, night life, and exploring. The bus across town to world renowned museums, shopping, and public parks is on the corner. My husband and I both work for international health organizations. We travel frequently to Africa, Latin America, and Asia for our work and sometimes for vacation. We have three children between the ages of 17 and 22; two are finishing high school and one is in college. We enjoy travel and getting to know new places and meet different people. We feel very fortunate to live in New York City because it is diverse, interesting, international, and active and it offers so many cultural activities. ![]()
