Park Slope was recently named the best neighborhood to live in in NYC! We are 3 short blocks from the R/F subway lines, 30 min. to Manhattan. Our neighborhood is filled with great shops, bars, music, and restaurants, including best Italian food in Brooklyn and perhaps all of New York City! Great pizza and coffee just around the corner. Prospect Park is 4 blocks away, gorgeous 500-plus acres. Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, the Brooklyn Museum, and Brooklyn Academy of Music are all within a couple of miles. ![]() Something about ourselves

We are a 50-something couple with 2 teenage daughters. I'm a teacher and my husband is a visual artist who also works in the IT world. Our TV is rather small but we have lots of good books! We enjoy living in a diverse, family-friendly urban environment where our kids can get around on their own. There are many great neighborhoods to explore right here in Brooklyn and of course world-class museums, theater, and restaurants both here and in Manhattan. ![]()
