My New York City apartment has been described as warm, welcoming, charming and homey--it is full of art and color and comfortable furniture, and is very quiet. It's in a luxury doorman building with 24 hour security, about a block and a half from subways, Central Park, Riverside Park and endless shopping and restaurants. You can walk across the park to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, be at the Natural History Museum in a quick 10-minute stroll, and get to Times Square and Broadway (by subway) in about 7 minutes. It's the perfect haven in the big city--great for a (non-smoking) couple.

The upper west side is a family oriented neighborhood near wonderful parks, museums, terrific restaurants,great shopping and Columbia University. You can get to any part of Manhattan or the other four boroughs easily, but you may not want to leave! I am interested in a simultaneous or a non simultaneous exchange. Something about ourselves

I'm a magazine editor, writer and writing teacher who loves to travel (especially in Italy), is extremely neat and responsible and generally leave places nicer than I found them. I will be traveling with my husband, an engineer; our lake home in CT may also be available as well.
