A 2400 sq ft well cared for home, built in 1924. New bathrooms, updated kitchen, plasma tv, wii with cable, central air. A patio in the backyard has a grill and cushioned teak furniture for an evening uder the trees after spending a day in exciting Manhattan. Three bedrooms and two outfitted offices on the second floor. Nicely set up, but fun and comfortable for children.

Our neighborhood
Scarsdale is an upscale older suburban neighborhood with tree lined streets and a 28 minute express train to mid-town Manhattan from the village. The homes have well tended gardens with friendly walking in the evening; lots of children in the streets and friendly parks. Guest passes for the town pool and tennis courts are available. The village of Scarsdale has shopping and restaurants, and bike/jogging paths along the river. Something about ourselves
I work as a CFO at a national not-for profit organization in Manhattan. We have a live-out nanny who could also be available to watch children in the house if needed. We enjoy our balanced life here; hiking in forest preserves in Westchester County 20 minutes driving north, and the museums, opera, boadway shows and restaurants in Manhattan, a 28 minute train ride south. Divorced, we are three travelers, myself and a well behaved 9 year old daughter and 11 year old son. They've been very good travelers domestically and I'd like to show them somewhere else in the world while sharing what we enjoy here.  marks the location of this home
