Our home is a period Cotswold Tudor with leaded windows, turret and landscaped property in a wooded area of similar homes. We are about 30 minutes from Manhattan by car or train. The train station is a 10 minute walk from the house, and so is the village center, and trains run about every half hour. Our home caters to young children with many toys games, books, ping pong table, air hockey table, Wii etc. There are enough bedrooms and bathrooms to easily accommodate 10 people. We have a study, a living room with a grand piano, a spacious, fully equipped kitchen, a living room and library with many books. The patio outside on the yard is a great place to eat. Our home while gracious, is warm, friendly and young at heart.

We live in a town called Scarsdale, an upscale neighborhood in Westchester County, NY. The homes and yards are well maintained and the streets are tree lined, giving the area a rustic wooded country feel. The village of Scarsdale as well as major shopping areas, are a 10 minute walk from the house, and of course Manhattan is a short 30 minutes away by car or train. Both my husband and I are physicians. Ranjit is a cardiologist and I, Kirin am a newborn intensivist. Our children are Tara 20 yrs., Saira 17 yrs., Natasha 15 yrs. and Neil 13 yrs. Our trips are scheduled around school vacations. I am of mixed parentage and Ranjit is Indian and we have lived in the U.S for the past 20 yrs. We travel a lot with the children both within the U.S. and elsewhere, having made trips to Costa Rica, Panama, Sweden, Denmark, Ghana, Rome, Greece, India, Austria, Belgium and France in the last couple of years. We strongly believe in educating our children by showing them the world and letting them experience other cultures first hand.
