We have a spacious, sun-filled New York City apartment with 12 windows and a 20 foot balcony. The apartment has central air conditioning. It is a 24 hour doorman building, totally secure, and in a perfect location for people who like restaurants, museums, shopping, theatre, opera. The winter pictures of our living space are a little crowded because we had to bring the plants indoors!

We are right next to Union Square (where there is an outdoor fresh food market on weekends) and you can walk to Greenwich Village, Washington Square and to midtown (Fifth Avenue, Empire State Building, Times Square). There are 5 movie theatres and literally hundreds of great restaurants and shops in the immediate neighborhood. Something about ourselves

We are an academic couple in our early sixties; we are professors of English in the City University of New York. We like to travel in summer and have spent time in France, Spain and Italy in the last few years. We are avid bikers, walkers and hikers but also love areas that have interesting history and culture. We would be interested in exchanging with Florence/Firenze in January. This summer we are planning a bike trip in Slovenia and Croatia. We would like to spend some time in Italy in late July in places we do not yet know such as Puglia but are open to other offers in Italy or the Dalmatian Coast. We have done exchanges with families from Copenhagen, France and Italy with great success in the last few years. Finally we travel with another academic couple and therefore are looking for a place that sleeps 4!
