Surely everyone's heard about Vegas by now, suffice it to say it is the premier destination spot in the world. After you've maxed out on the Vegas experience, enjoy our Las Vegas home in a quiet, gated community approximately 20 minutes from downtown and the Las Vegas Strip. Summers are quite hot in Las Vegas, and the distance from downtown and the Strip means cooler temperatures. A stay in Vegas, however, offers more than casinos and bright lights, world class restaurants and shopping. Day trips to Mount Charleston, Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire and many other recreational areas are easily done. Lake Mead, the largest man-made lake in the world, and Hoover Dam are within a 45 minute drive. Other natural wonders such as Grand Canyon, Death Valley, Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon are nearby. See http://www.us-parks.com

We are Mike and Lin, a retired couple. Mike spent his working years in finance and Lin was a project manager. We say retired, but we spent the past several years building our Pioche home. Mike divides much of his time between flying his private airplane and golfing, but Lin is ready to do some more traveling. We are particulary interested in making semi-hosted exchanges and have enjoyed meeting people from all over the world.

We are really excited about the home exchange concept as it will allow us to extend our travel plans to family and close friends in a cost effective manner. We also like the idea of sharing our homes and community with others.

We love our home, but we also want to see more of the world and meet new people. We are non-smokers and as you can see from our photos we take good care of our home and will do the same as a guest in your home.

This summer we hope to travel to Ireland with our daughter and her family. There will be 6 in our party.
