In summer, enjoy the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan with forays to award-winning downtown Holland’s lunch and dinner spots, boutique shopping, farmer’s market, and entertainment venues. Neighboring shoreline destinations include Grand Haven and Saugatuck. Parks dot the shoreline north and south of our home, with bike paths ribboning the community (bicycles available). Water-born activities abound. In winter, enjoy cross-country skiing very near our home, watching the deer in our backyard, and being enveloped in a winter wonderland. Something about ourselves

We are a family of four and love to explore. We've been traveling with our daughters (now a sophomore in high school and freshman in college) since they were infants. We traditionally spend a week in Grand Cayman each year, and a couple of weeks either in Venice-plus-a-new-European-destination (most recently Greece) or a warm-weather destination (Thailand upcoming). Our preference is to immerse as much as possible in the culture we are visiting and we usually rent homes, apartments or villas for our stays. We formerly rented our own properties as vacation destinations, and are now exploring home exchange. Robert is a consultant in the healthcare field. Mary maintains an Internet company. Both manage properties. ![]()
