This is a unique, large log cabin in the Central Idaho Mountains on a beautiful lake. It is on four levels including a large two bedroom loft overlooking a central atrium. The furnishings are an eclectic collection of period antiques and collectibles. There is a large deck around the front and side of the mainfloor and a second deck off of the master bedroom, both overlooking the lake. It is located on a hill back one tier from the lake, and has a private dock (shared with one other family)on a fabulous white sand beach. The interior is very spacious with the living areas arranged around the four story atrium.

Our neighborhood
Payette Lake is located in the Central Idaho Mountains 100 miles north of Boise, in a setting of spectacular beauty. The lake is peaceful, and provides the opportunity for boating, water skiing, sailing, rowing, swimming, or just relaxing on the beautiful white sand beach. It is a paradise of activity for children of all ages. There is excellent mountain biking on old roads, and on mountain trails. Running and road biking opportunities abound as well. The mountains provide opportunities for day hiking or backpacking into spectacular mountain lakes, and fishing for rainbow or cutthroat trout. The lake and enviorns are next to the largest wilderness area in the lower 48 states (The Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness) which presents the opportunity for an unparalled wilderness experience. Idaho has more whitewater river mileage than any state in the lower 48, and there are unlimited opportunities for whitewater rafting for all levels of experience. Something about ourselves
I am a retired physician, and my wife and I have grown children and eight grand-children, all of whom love our second home in McCall. My wife has decorated and furnished the cabin in an exquisite antique-western motif. The two of us travel extensively, usually with friends or family. We have not participated in home exchanges in the past, but look forward to the possibility of sharing our home, and visiting homes in other locales.  = marks the location of this home
