Pohailani 221 is a 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom 2nd floor duplex unit with loft that comfortably sleeps 6-7. The master bedroom has a queen bed and shoji doors that open to the main living area that has a queen pullout sofa. The second bedroom has a twin bed, pull-out single, and a computer desk with high speed wireless access.(Bring your laptop) There is also a loft with bed that is accessible by ladder and great for kids of all ages! There is cable TV in each room and the living room has a DVD player. Vaulted ceilings and ceiling fans throughout contribute to the airy tropical feel of this unit. A large covered lanai overlooks the smaller of the two pools and provides dining for four. Perfect for a relaxing cocktail while keeping a close eye on the kids in the pool! The fully equipped kitchen has charming Balinese cabinets, stainless steel countertops and appliances. A three person kitchen bar provides another dining area and a way to interact with the cook and contributes to the open layout of the condo. We have free parking for 2 cars (cars are not provided) next to our unit. There are 2 coin laundries just few steps away. We are non-smokers, so please don't smoke inside!! Sorry, but no pets. If you have cats and dogs(nice dogs) we can take care of them at your home.

We are a Canadian family of 4: Christian and Natalia (both in our 40s), Christina (15), and Annika (2). We are both self-employed. I am a real estate agent in Vancouver BC, and Christian is the owner-operator of a company dealing with summer camps in Whistler BC. Our home is in Vancouver BC, but we also have a second home in Kahana (near Lahaina), Maui. I love Maui and we have been there many times. Recently, my family has been wanting to try somewhere new. We have never tried exchanging houses in the past. I found this website and I think it is a great idea to try something new. We rent out our condo when we don't use it. We have a local manager and a cleaner, but now we would like to offer our second home for a house swap in some warm places with great beaches.
