Description of our house
We have a lovely 3 bedroom home; the master bedroom and our guest bedroom, both have queen size beds. The 3rd bedroom is used as a den/office which has a futon and opens up to a double bed. It is a split floor plan. We have up to date appliances, HDTV and wireless Internet. You have heard. . . 'Location-Location-Location' Well, this has a GREAT LOCATION! This is truly a lovely area of Florida . . . We love it here . . . and know you will too! We consider this process as a way to make friends . . . and will treat you the best way we can!

Our neighborhoodAlthough our home is 5 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico (Madeira Beach), our home is on a shady lot in 'quiet' Seminole. We have all the 'STUFF' for you to enjoy the beach but then you can return home and relax on the lanai, cook out if you wish and enjoy the hot tub in our shady backyard. We have a gas grill, a shady back yard and an orange tree. Depending on the season. . . the fruit is there for you to enjoy! Our neighbors are friendly and helpful and we will have everything set up for you to be comfortable. We know that you and your family will enjoy it here. . . .
The home is NOT set up for small children.
We are non-smokers and ask if you need to smoke to do so outside. If we can, we will have someone meet you at the airport and get you settled.
We are experienced exchangers and have references if requested.
We will take care of your home. . . as if it were our own and hope you will do the same.

Something about ourselvesBob (69) is a former Insurance executive and Lois (60) is a former Home Economics teacher. We are non-smokers. We have been able to do alot of traveling around the US and Europe while we were working and now that we have some what retired, and entered the world of 'home exchange', we are doing even more! We are experienced exchangers having visited Austria, Switzerland, England, Ireland, France and the USA. We are both working part-time. Lois is back working in a school environment and travel times revolve around school schedules. This is not a typical school. Vacation is 2 weeks the beginning of August.
We have 4 grown children, who live with their families, around the US.
Sometimes we would like to travel with another couple.
We are interested in arranging an exchange in Manhattan over the Christmas Holidays for about a week. We could fly up on the 26th and leave on the 30th or 31st. We would like to be back home for New Years Eve. If you wish to stay longer you could extend your stay be making arrangements at one of the many nearby hotels on the Beach and get to enjoy a different experience of Florida. We have GREAT beaches here.. in fact #1.. Fort Desoto Park... GREAT weather and wonderful restaurants!! Car available for you.. don't want car in NYC!!
We are still open to the idea of doing long weekend exchanges. We can be ready at a 'moments notice'... Tempt us!
We are OPEN to other destinations... How about Hawaii... Oahu???
