OUR HOME:
This grand Home is estimated to be worth over 5.8 Million dollars by most brokers. Local tax authorities estimated livable space (excluding garage, big covered balconies, portico) to be 5,800 sq ft. (including guest house/apt).
The total home has 5 bedrooms, including 2 in the fine guest house/apt, where you could be our guests. The total house has 4 full and 2 half baths (including an outside 1/2 bath). Real estate is expensive once you enter this small town/island.
Though listing indicates the property accommodates 5, it obviously can accommodate more.
Our home has two large separate buildings: main house 3 full bedrooms, 3 full and 1/2 (powder room) bath. Built from 1921 to 1924 by a famous writer. It has an elevator, 2 1/2 car garage, living rooms, family rooms, breakfast room kitchen, upstairs study, etc.
Large pool area, beautiful home and grounds. 2 car portico useful entering house for guests. 2 main balconies on the main house, one very large balcony overlooking the pool.
Guest house/apartment has a large balcony of its own.
A former US President lived down the street, another US President around the block. The man across the street, a billionaire, is just finishing his new mansion.
GUEST APARTMENT/HOUSE (IN A SEPARATE BUILDING ON THE PROPERTY):
Very roomy, comfortable guest apartment/house has 2 bedrooms, one with one queen and another with a double bed, and a full bath and living room and nice sized kitchen, all nicely done up for a guest house. One of the bedrooms in the guest house/apartment has a walk in closet.
This guest house/apartment has its own large lighted private balcony, overlooking the pool area. There is an outdoor beach bathroom in the guest building also.
This Guest house/apartment is very private, in a entirely separate building. Ofter we don't even notice the guests at there.
Plenty of car parking for everyone.
There are two sets of clothes washers and driers on the property, and one set is for the Guest house/apartment. But our excellent maid/housekeeper is available grata, no charge, if you are staying in the Guest house/apt. You are our guests and friends.
Guest house/apt has a fairly large kitchen of its own, with a large refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal, coffee makers, linens, towels, silverware, dishes and glassware, every thing you need to have a great stay.
The guest house apartment has its own brand new central air conditioning and central heating system, and its own hot water heater.
The beds and mattresses and pillows are almost new, having rarely been used.
Our large cabana room and pool will all be available for your use, even if you are only staying in the guest house/apartment.
Our visiting friends actually prefer the guest house/apt to the main house when staying here, as it is very private.
MAID/HOUSEKEEPER:
If you are staying in the guest house/apt as our guests while we are here, we will provide the service of maid/housekeeper, if you desire, for no charge to you of course.
MAR-A-LAGO CLUB:
Mar-a-Lago is the Trump family home, and his club, very private; can't get near the place without careful arrangements by a true member.
We are long time (original) members of Mar a Lago, an amazing place just to visit. It is so expensive to operate and maintain (heavily taxed) even Trump needed help from us members to get it going. He actually lives there. But one cannot enter the property, as there is an army of security, except by careful arrangements by a true known member.
We see Donald, his family and many other celebrities, politicians (Bill Clinton and George HW Bush) for example; also film stars, music stars, TV stars, writers, billionaires, CEO's, supermodels, and on and on, all the time. Even at local Palm Beach restaurants, you see some of these people all the time.
If you stay with us, you are our house guests and friends, and you are welcome to join us at Mar-a-Lago as guests, entry fee grata of course. Have a great time at this amazing historic place, its restaurants, parties, and beach club and much more. (Google: "Mar-a-Lago Club)

LOCATION:
The home is only 3 houses away from the Town of Palm Beach's world class beach/ocean. Best beach, because so secure, kept manicured by town of very wealthy. 70% of the Forbes 500 (billionaires) have a home in the Town of Palm Beach, most now spend over 6 months here.
Most of the billionaires have homes in walking distance to ours. We know many of them, they are just neighbors, we go to their parties. For example the (Estee, Robert, etc.,) Lauder family home is 5 houses away.
Worth Ave, a world famous fashion, dining mecca, an amazing 5 short blocks, easy walking distance. World famous restaurants also in walking distance, Cafe Europe, Taboo, BICE, etc. Best to drive if at night to look your best. But walking very safe, many walk to lunch and dinner.
Town/Island of Palm Beach, is as safe and secure as a place can be, why all very wealthy have homes here. Police force is polite, and professional, and large. They are everywhere, watching everything with cameras also, but very courteous and helpful.
Our location is as perfect a can be. World famous Breakers Hotel Palm Beach only 3 blocks from our home in the other direction (north). Breakers is amazing to visit. Beautiful post office a short walk from our house. UPS has a local fancy office. The Colony Hotel with great world class entertainment, 6 blocks away; Brazilian Court hotel and restaurant also. Palm Beach Grill, and the many restaurants on Royal Poncinana Way, 5 blocks away.
World famous Worth Avenue, sightseeing and dining mecca with all of its Via's, fashon, art, jewelry, Ferrari's and Roll Royces, very famous people everywhere, only 5 blocks away, an easy walk.
4 famous and beautiful churches (one Catholic, Kennedy's were married there, the other, "Bethesda by the Sea church" where Trumps and others get married) all in walking distance. 2 synagogues in walking distance including one orthodox, where people walk to every Friday/Saturday.

Town of Palm Beach Tennis courts (6 clay) 3 blocks away, beautiful short walk down our street. Town also has brand new clay courts at the ocean park also, right on ocean.
We have 5 bikes and beach chairs and towels at house for your use, and beach just steps away. You actually hear the ocean waves all night. Nice.
Museums, restaurants, great fashion (world famous Worth Ave) steps away. People walk on Worth Avenue all hours, night, very safe. Just walking around town looking at architecture really fun, great exercise. We like to walk or bike rides, especially on 5 mile long paved town "Lake Trail" where you see backs of the mansions and properties, and great nature around the intracoastal. We always see manitees swimming, and jumping fish; once I saw a whale in the intracoastal, really.
Golf at world famous Breakers Hotel (3 blocks away) is fantastic. Just book a couple days ahead of time. Town of Palm Beach also owns a par 3, great fun. Town par 3 on the ocean and intercoastal. Wonderful hitting the ball alongside the ocean. Also inexpensive playing on Par 3 course, and rentals, carts are inexpensive. Town Par 3 and Breakers have great driving ranges, practice putting facilities. Close to our home.
THE PALM BEACH COMMUNITY AND PEOPLE, WHAT THE RESIDENTS ARE LIKE:
We seem to know everyone in town, hence know people all over the world. Palm Beach different than Beverly Hills, as many residents European. But many from Hamptons, Nantucket, Monaco, Switzerland, France, Germany and UK. Palm Beach very international and exciting.
Palm Beachers not boring, but exciting, successful, very educated. Many are famous in their own areas of work. CEO's of major companies all over our street. Discussions always interesting, even while chatting walking dogs. Palm Beach has some great tennis players and golfers. Many former pros from all sports are neighbors.
THE REAL PALM BEACH:
Others in various Home Exchange sites are implying they are on on the Island/Town of PALM BEACH, when really they are actually in Palm Beach Gardens, North Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, Manalapan, etc. There is a great difference. Their home values are very different than in the actual Town of Palm Beach. Some of these "other places" are even a bit far away, requiring expressway driving. Palm Beach County is the largest county in Florida. The whole County, very large, is the size of a state. The Town of Palm Beach is one very special town on its own island, connected by two bridges on South Florida's east coast, located within Palm Beach County.
Our Palm Beach Island/Town is very different; secure Island community, historic, manicured constantly, and taxes here are high. They are doing something in our Town of Palm Beach that is not done anywhere else in the country.

Mr Owner is a retired 58 year old founder of a large Florida law firm/practice. Mrs owner, age 46, was the firm office manager, business degree, very much social in town. Our headquarters for the law firm was on Worth Avenue, Palm Beach, on and off for 28 years. We had many associated law offices throughout Florida. Our job now for both of us, is to have fun, travel, exercise, eat healthy, and be with our many friends.
But we are only 2 ourselves, staying at your place, we have no children, so no children at all that will be staying at your home. We have been together 24 years, very happily married 19 years.
