Open, casual Florida-type home with large back yard, hammock, hot tub with deck, bahama fan and pond and front porch for breakfasts with pond next to it. Only 1 mile or less to beautiful beaches and two parks. Large open kitchen/dining/living room with sliding glass doors out to back deck for eating outside and Bar-B Qing. Den and Master bedroom have sliding doors to back screen patio. Golf cart available to travel within Key Biscayne. Four adult bicycles and 2 children's available. The master bedroom has a Queen bed, the "children's" room has one bunk bed and one trundle bed, 4 can sleep here, and the 3 has a double "Murphy Bed" - easily folds down from the wall. Plus, there is a queen sofa bed in the den and a a sleeping screen porch with a single day bed where I normally sleep. There are Bahama fans through out the home and air conditioning as needed. I also have a friendly orange male cat, Romeo, who will meow for food twice a day. He is very friendly and likes to curl up in chairs or on your lap. The yard is large with plenty of room to run around and throw balls. The hammock and hot tub deck with fountain offer places to relax.

Beautiful tropical environment with beaches and 2 beach parks within one mile, one with paddle boat rentals, "surrey" bikes for 4, 2 restaurants and fishing. Also within one mile are super market, multiple restaurants, shops, tennis courts, large playground and community center with pool and exercise facility. All easily accessible by foot, bicycle or golf cart. Downtown Miami 8 miles and South Miami Beach, Coconut Grove, the Everglades and Florida Keys within 1/2 to one hour. Water sports available within 5 miles, kite boarding, paddle boarding, fishing, kayaking, canoing, scuba and snorkeling. Orlandowith Disney, Universal, etc. is about 3.5 hours north by car. The Everglades offer airboat rides, Indian villages, canoeing, kayaking and hiking. Summers are warm and humid, but on the Island there are breezes and the delightful water at the beaches. The Village of Key Biscayne is very safe since it is 6 miles and over 2 bridges from the mainland. The population in summer is around 10,000. Many residents and visitors speak Spanish and are usually totally bilingual. You can walk everywhere, any time of the day or night with no problem. You can also take advantage of the private Beach Club with umbrellas, lounges and a snack bar or the Village Beach, both within 1 mile. Something about ourselves

I have lived in and loved this home for almost 40 years. It reflects my love of an open and airy environment. I rarely eat indoors and spend most of my time enjoying the wonderful outdoor weather, biking, walking, swimming. My favorites are sun and moon rises at the beach and sunsets in the State Park, just 1 mile away. I have been single for over 30 years, raised my son and daughter here and my 4 grandsons love coming to visit from Sarasota, FL and Charlotte, NC.
