This beautiful, tastefully furnished, top (3rd)floor (with elevator) apartment is located right on a scenic estuary leading to the Atlantic Ocean. After a dip in the pool, barbeque you favorite meal while you sip a glass of wine on your huge terrace over looking the beautiful river below.
You will not be able to take your eyes off the stunning extensive views, with sliding glass doors leading to your terrace from the living and master bed rooms. The picturesque marina of the Conch House resort beacons you to charter a boat for sailing or fishing, or just come for dinner or a drink. The natural beauty of Anastasia State Park is just across the water. Watch an endless parade of boats going by and Parasailers enjoying fun in the sun. Complete your day drinking in the romance of the near by light house in the evening mist.
Your luxurous, large master suite has a comfortable pillow topped king sized bed, and love seat along with an enormous "walk in" closet, stereo system and television. The adjoining private master bath has new double sinks, beveled mirrors, and lots of counter, drawer and cabinet space. There is also a huge romantic bath tub for two (candles and bubble bath included) and a separate shower.
The lovely guest room/office has a queen sized pull out sofa, a desk, and its own full bath room with shower over a full sized tub.
Awaken in the peaceful morning to a glorious sunrise through the sails of boats in the charming marina, all viewed right from your bed. Step out onto your large terrace to catch the morning breeze while you watch Egrets, Pelicans, Herons, Ospreys and Sea Gulls fly past your perch to the fishing grounds.
After breakfast, a short walk over the bridge brings you into the charming historic village of St Augustine. . . the oldest active settlement in the United States. Step back in time as you visit the amazing Spanish fort. Browse the art galleries and shops filled with collectable works from local artists. Sample delectable freshly caught seafood prepared by creative chefs at reasonable prices. Let yourself be guided through history by riding a horse drawn carriage, or walking around ancient grave yards during the nightly ghost tours. Our large, top floor, luxury apartment is in a small building containing only 9 units. The neighbors are very friendly and helpful, but will maintain your privacy. There is a lovely river front pool for the private use of the condo owners. Only a short block away there is a marina where you can charter a boat for deep sea fishing. That resort also has a good restaurant, a fun bar, and live music on the weekends.
Less than a mile away is the terrific Alligator Farm where you will find not only an extensive collection of reptiles, but a natural rookery where hundreds of exotic Egrets, Storks, Spoonbills and Herons nest and roost.
The ocean and wonderful beaches are a 5 minute drive. To the North lies famous Ponta Vedra with its TPC golf championship, exclusive shopping and dining, and beaches. To the South there are more isolated, natural beaches for fishing and shelling. Then there is the rest of the state which is filled with natural beauty from clear springs where manatees live in the winter, to the Everglades where tropical birds share swamps with alligators. There is also the fantastic Kennedy Space Center, Disney World and the Nascar races in Daytona, among many, many other adventures. This great place is our second home. We are 60 something newly weds, Sherry Epley and Menos Shaw. We are retired travelers who live highly ethical, healthy lives.
