Recently constructed 3-story home in beach community with a 4th floor open tower providing expansive views of near-by state park, ocean, and colorful rooftops. Decorated by 3 award-winning designers--house was featured in a local magazine. Home includes media room, wide screen porches, sun/game room, screened outdoor as well as indoor dining rooms, fully equpped gourmet kitchen with cooking porch featuring a large gas grill. We have a small, heated swimming pool, a carriage house with fully eqipped kitchen, living area, full bath, and bedroom with queen-size bed. Home includes ping pong table, bicycles for children and adults, as well as hammock swings on porches. Our house is kept in excellent condition and we will maintain the same standard in any home that exchange. There is an off-premise caretaker available if needed.

Our neighborhood
WaterColor, Florida is a premier, family-oriented, people friendly beach-side community located in the panhandle of Florida, famous for its white, soft-sand beaches and emerald green and blue waters. There are many activities, both lake and ocean, bicycle and hiking paths as well as tennis courts, local spas and a gym. We are one block from Seaside, FL which has outdoor concerts twice weekly. Both communities also offer outdoor family-friendly movies throughout summer months. There are numerous parks and flower gardens located throughout the property. This area is also known for its numerous and challenging golf courses. There are several community pools which can be utilized for a small daily fee. Camp WaterColor is available for children ages 4 to 12, open daily and providing many fun activities. In nearby Destin, there is a water park, amusement area, deep sea fishing excursions and shopping. In addition there are many fun boutiques in the WaterColor/Seaside/Grayton Beach area with many local artists displaying and selling their art. Within a five hour drive are New Orleans, Atlanta, and Orlando, home of Disney World, Universal Studios Theme Park and Sea World. Something about ourselves
We are a 60-year-old couple, Charleen and Trim, married 40 years. We have two grown children, one with well-behaved girls, ages 10 and 8, whom we would like to have visit us, if possible, for part of our exchange. There would most likely be just the two of us, but possibly no more than 4 at any one time during the trip. Charleen is a former educator and Trim is a semi-retired bank director and investor. We love to travel and are eager for the opportunity to live for a time in another country as well as sharing our home here in Florida.
