Description of our house
My home is very family friendly, Most weekends its filled with lots of children and family members. It great for entertaining and family get togethers. The decor is sort of retro or what I call "Early Attic". I collect lots of different things which makes for an interesting collage of things to look at that tell lots of different stories of travel and visitors. One of the bedrooms has a trundle bed, a crib and lots of toys for boys and girls in the toddler range. I have several gardens outside, lots of orchids back in the pool area and two small fish ponds too. The Pool is very large approx 15 x 30 feet. The outside is very tropical and lush. One side note, I do have an indoor/outdoor cat, she is very sweet and low maintenance, I would just ask that you feed her dry food when her bowl is empty and she goes in and out as she pleases....also, the fish in the ponds and in the window vase could use a pinch of food daily. PS...dont try to pick the cat up...she loves to be petted but has panic attacks if you pick her up...she loves to be combed especially by little ones.

Our neighborhoodMy neighborhood is great!!! Its a quiet family neighborhood. Most of our friends live in a 6 block radius and we are family to each other. We are all very close, keep an eye on each other and they would all be there if our guests ever needed anything or advice on where to go and what to do. They are wonderful people. I will leave a list of their names and numbers for you. Petie and Robin will be your main contacts. There is a beautiful Park right on Charlotte Harbor that is only a few blocks from my home on the other side of the Historic District. There are tennis courts there. Next door is the public library. The main grocery store is only a few blocks away and several restaurants as well. The hospital is maybe a mile or two. There is an Emergency/Fire house a few blocks away. The Gulf Of Mexico is a 35 minute drive with beautiful beaches in several different locations. Boca Grande is a 45 minute drive. It is famous for tarpon fishing. Punta Gorda is known as one of Ponce De Leon's landings. He was shot in the rear by native Indians. Please go to www.charlotteharbortravel.com to read all about our area.

Something about ourselvesFrank and I arent married, we dont live together and we have several properties that we stay at here locally so anytime of the year would really be ok other than Christmas. Frank comes from a really big family and I come from a very small family. He is the County Property Appraiser and I work for Clear Channel Radio doing events, concerts, festivals and advertising. We are looking to retire in about 5 years so we are looking to establish exchanges over the next few years so when the time comes we are all set.
