This is our retirement home so it is comfortable, with the large (35 x 18 ) heated pool and jacuzzi accessible from the Master Bedroom with its huge bed. You can enjoy the sun free of insects with our enclosed pool/patio. No need to miss English Soccer on the 55" HD plasma TV. Everything works as you would expect with modern US house but we are not on a Toytown estate. We can sleep 8, and seat more for meals and lounging, with eg 6 leather recliners. The house is kid friendly as our grandchildren and neighbours children are regular visitors.

Rural. Trees opposite. Nearest house at rear about an acre away. Very quiet and safe area yet only 45 minutes to Orlando with Seaworld, etc. We love our local 4 mile white sand beach, Playlinda, 20 minutes away as is NASA, a great day out. North about 1 and 1/2 hrs is the oldest town in North America, St Augustine, which will surprise you, and make you wonder if you are in USA. Airboat riding nearby is a must. This is the Florida Space Coast. It is still relatively unspoiled with Wildlife easily viewable. The Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge is nearby. We regularly see Dolphins, Manatees, Gators, and many colourful birds. The sunrises and sunsets are memorable.And we had no hurricanes since we have lived here ( 8 years ), in fact the weather is much better than inland around Orlando, we are 4/5F less, with breezes from the coast which is only 2 miles from our house. Past visitors have remarked how surprised they were that it is not as hot or humid as expected. Excellent Fishing in area. One can kayak with Manatees. Something about ourselves

English but fed up with too many people, too high costs, and the grey weather. We were teachers in our last years in UK, but Graham was active in business and politics for many years before. Angela raised 5 lovely kids. Now we enjoy no traffic jams, reasonable living costs, and sun every day. We still return to England at least twice a year and visit other places to see family and friends as our children have ventured far and wide. We have exchanged 8 times in Switzerland, France and England, and USA. No houses with cats please. We are still friends with the folk we swapped with in Switzerland 15 years ago, and now have friends in Virginia and Alaska through exchanging.We sometimes travel with our family as we did in 2011 so that makes 15! They said we left the house cleaner than when we arrived, which is true!
