Description of our house
We live in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath home in an established neighborhood 5 minutes from the downtown area of Venice and also the beach. Our beautifully decorated home is a great place to entertain our friends. The master bedroom has a walkin closet with a king size bed and a connected bath. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. Both have TV's in the room. There is another bath between the two bedrooms. The living area has a leather sofa, two chairs, tables, fireplace, secretary, and piano. The dining room is off the living room and has a beautiful mahogony table with chairs. The modern kitchen is nearby and has a snack bar that connects with the family room/office. Here you can recline in two leather chairs and watch TV or movies. You can enjoy your coffee, watch TV, or excercise in the sunroom that looks out into the shaded backyard and garden and to the lanni with hot tub. To the side of the house is a garage. We would consider a car swap.

Our neighborhoodVenice is a small town off the gulf coast of Florida where you can view some of the most awesome sunsets. It is located 20 minutes from Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota that has been named one of the ten most beartiful beaches in the world. Within a two hour drive you can visit Disney World, the Everglades, Busch Gardens, or Kennedy Space Center. Our home is near to shopping, wonderful eating establishments, cultural and art activities, golfing and water sports. People from all cultural backgrounds and countries live here.

Something about ourselvesTim and I (Wilda) are retirees who enjoy traveling to new places. I retired as a social worker and later as an insurance agent. Tim was a career Navy Chief who later worked as an area manager for a cotton ginning company. We enjoy hiking, reading, dancing, broadway plays, and just relaxing with a glass of wine with our friends. Tim enjoys dabling in the stockmarket. We have enjoyed 3 exchanges to this date that have been wonderful sucesses. We would treat your home with the same care as we would our own. Currently we would like for our next trip in summer of 09 to be in the Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and England area. Tim's family immigrated to the US from Ireland and we would especially like to see that area. We would like 3-4 weeks in each place. If interested let us know. Non simultanious exchanges are possible. We can exchange cars if interested. A couple of bicycles are available to use.
