Large (2100 sq ft), bright and sunny two bed/two bath apartment in a well established building in Rosslyn. Located on the 14th floor, with a big balcony, where we have superb views of the Potomac river, city and all the wonderful DC monuments. Large master bedroom with bathroom. The second bedroom is used as our office, and has a very comfortable sleep sofa, and connecting bathroom. Washer and dryer in the apt. There is a very big private pool open in the summer, plus two outdoor tennis courts (with lights) open all year. A newly renovated gym, with sauna and whirlpool, and a library where you can borrow books and magazines during your visit. On site store, car wash, dry cleaners. Secure building w/24 hour front desk. Safe neighborhood. We welcome older children, but the apartment is not really suited for children under the age of five.

Our neighborhood
Rosslyn has many shops and restaurants, and is within walking distance of Georgetown, Arlington Cemetery, Iwo Jima memorial, or one stop on the Metro (subway) to DC. Located just 5 minutes from downtown, and 10 minustes from National Airport etc, with the Metro Blue & Orange Line(subway) stop just three blocks away, we have excellent and easy access to the White House, Mall, Smithsonian museums, Kennedy Center, Eastern Market, Washington Nationals baseball, etc. There is also a convenient bus stop just steps away from the apartment complex entrance, where you can reach the city in minutes. Open air movies in the park in the summer, various markets and festivals held throughout the year, and the Marine Corps Marathon finish line are all on our doorstep. Bike/walking trails nearby. Bus to New York (Vamoose Bus) is close by as well if you want to travel. This is city living at it's best! A car is not necessary here, but we can usually arrange free parking if you need it. We are Len and Maggie, transplanted Europeans living for many years in DC, a city which we love. This is a beautiful, clean, cosmopolitan city, with lots to do and to see. Maggie works for an international organization, and Len an avid painter, golfer and tennis player, is retired from the real world. We are interested in long weekend options on the East Coast, especially New York, and also other longer breaks around the US, Canada. But also open to all other destinations!
