Our quiet, clean home is situated across the park from open space and near to the majestic Flatirons rock formations. Enjoy long sunny days on the deck, at the neighborhood pool, on the many nearby hiking and biking trails, or in beautiful downtown Boulder (only 15 minutes away by car or 35-40 minutes by bike).
Enjoy our large, comfortable deck, living room with skylights, open dining room, well-equipped kitchen, 1 1/2 baths, master bedroom with Juliet balcony, and open second bedroom/study. We have a detached garage, but there's usually a parking space available right in front of the condo. We live in a quiet neighborhood with great neighbors--don't hesitate to ask them for recommendations on places to see and things to do!
Boulder is known for its open space, good climate, smart and fit populace, world-class university, and its great transportation system. Beautiful biking, hiking, and walking trails are usually no more than 30 minutes away from any location in Boulder (and are just across the street from the condo!). Besides having many historical landmarks such as Chautauqua Park, Boulder is located less than an hour away from Denver, the Continental Divide, and Rocky Mountain National Park. Down on the famous Pearl Street Mall, a charming outdoor mall in Boulder's downtown area, there are wonderful restaurants, high-end shopping, cafes, coffee shops, bookstores, and a busy night life for those who want it. Less than two hours away are the famous ski resorts of Colorado, and many (especially Vail) have beautiful views and plenty of summer activities.
Please be advised, we do have a dog, and even though she will be staying with family or a doggy-day-care, traces of allergens may remain for those of you who are allergic. If you're interested in staying here this summer and live in the mid-to-southern region of England, please don't hesitate to contact us! My daughter and I are true Boulderites: relaxed, friendly, outdoorsy folks with a love for travelling. It was my daughter who came up with the idea of going to England this summer to get a look at our heritage and experience a different part of the world. We would love to be able to arrange a home exchange from roughly the start of June to the start of August, but any time from June to mid-August works for us. We respect our home: we keep it clean, in good condition, and know that you would do the same for us.
