We are semi-retired native-Californians. I am an environmental lawyer and artist. My husband is an engineer and avid outdoorsman. We enjoy travel and have traveled extensively through the US and Canada, and we have done a good deal of international travel as well in Europe and South East Asia, primarily. We are planning to expand our travel horizons to Mexico, Central and South America and Australia/New Zealand in the near future. We have two adult sons who live in the San Francisco Bay Area. They are both getting married to young women who were born and raised in Brazil but plan to come to California to live. We anticipate spending a great deal of time in Brazil, enjoying our wonderful, new extended families. So although we speak only English fluently -- I have some French and Swedish, and my husband some Spanish -- we will have two charming native-Portuguese speakers in our lives very soon. ![]()
