Description of our house

I have a comfortable and spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo in San Francisco. It's a corner unit, on the fifth floor of a building with pretty views of downtown SF. Both bedrooms have queen size beds and the master bedroom has a connected bath. The kitchen has bar seating for two, and opens to the living room, which has very pretty views of the city. I have hardwood floors throughout and carpet in the bedrooms. The condo gets great light during the day, and is very quiet from street noise. The building itself has security 24 hours a day and a lobby attendant that can provide assistance with directions, getting cabs, etc. I also have a parking spot in the building so if you plan to have a car, I can arrange for you to have access to the garage.

My home is in the South of Market (SoMa) neighborhood of San Francisco. One of the best things about this place is that it has really easy access to public transportation (trains, buses, and cabs) but you can also walk to downtown or the waterfront area. The weather tends to be sunnier that other SF neighborhoods (yes, there is a difference neighborhood to neighborhood!) and if you want to explore other parts of the SF bay area, there is quick access to the highways and bridges from my house. I'm near two nice grocery stores, some good restaurants, and the baseball stadium for the SF Giants. ![]() Something about ourselves

I've been living in San Francisco since 2000 and grew up in the Bay Area so I have a great love for this part of the world. I feel lucky to live here and am always happy to host friends and family that are visiting from abroad and want to experience all that SF has to offer. I recently did a home exchange with a friend of a friend who had a place in New York, and I had a good experience so I'm keen to try it again. I have been fortunate to travel around many parts of the world but I think a home exchange is a particularly unique way to experience another city. I look forward to getting to know more about you and what kind of experience you are looking for in the San Francisco Bay Area! ![]()
