Solana beach is close to ALL san diego has to offer, we are just 20 minutes from all major sites, an excellent base to see the city.
Home sits overlooking san elijo lagoon and ecological reserve. Wonderful bird and nature watching, hiking and biking trails.
Can sleep up to seven adults. Pull out couch in living room. Beautiful hardwood floors throughout, with Berber carpet in bedrooms. Spacious yard for playing or barbecuing. Trampoline in backyard. table tennis in living room.
Flat screen televisions in living room and master bedroom, with satellite cable.
Washer and dryer in garage. 3 adult bikes, 3 kids bikes to use. Beach towels and chairs provided. 1 body board.
Eliptical machine also in home for working out.
Piano and guitar to play.
Train station nearby for quick transport to downtown San Diego, and access to coastal California.

Solana beach is a beautiful, small charming beach town, with great surfing, beaches, and dining.
our two local beaches are fletcher cove and tide cove park. tide cove is very private always plenty of sand and surf. fletcher cove is amazing, with summer concerts, a playground and great beach.
Just blocks away from world famous Del Mar races, and golfing at Torrey pines. two golf course also just blocks away. Neighboring towns of Del Mar, la Jolla, Cardiff by the sea, and Encinitas, all with fine beaches, surf and dining.
Solana beach(means sunny beach in Spanish) has wonderful year round weather. Famous surf breaks (Cardiff reef and tabletops)and surf shops to rent boards, all nearby.
20 minute drive to everything San Diego has to offer: world famous San Diego zoo, Legoland CA, Seaworld, San Diego safari park.
cedros design district bloscks away for upper end shopping and fine dining.
down town San Diego with museums, sports stadiums, also 20 minutes.

We are a young couple ( MID 30'S) that love to travel as much as possible. Chad is the owner of a construction business that remodels and builds homes, and Amber is a stay at home mom. 3 kids Jarrek age 10, Jewel age 8, and Jagger age 1 1/2 years.
We traded homes with a parisian family this last summer, it was so much fun. can't want to exchange again.
