Our home is a granny unit that was built in 2005. It has a very open floor plan and appears to be much larger than its 896 square feet. It has one bedroom that sleeps two on a queen sized captain's bed. It has tile floors throughout except there is carpeting in the bedroom. All cabinets are oak and the counter tops are Corian for easy clean up. All kitchen appliances are stainless steel. The dining table is antique oak and easily sits four people. It has a sectional sofa and two over stuffed chairs with automans in the living area where you can relax while viewing a VHS or DVD on the 52" flat screen TV.

The home sits on three acres along with the main house which is occupied by our son, daughter-in-law and grandson. There is also another small guest cottage which sleeps two on a queen size bed that can be included in this exchange. The cottage has its own private bathroom facilities but does not have a kitchen.

We can include a car with this exchange but I'm not sure what vehicle it would be. It would be one of the following; 1997 GMC standard pickup, 2007 Chevy Duramax crew cab pickup or 2010 Volkswagen Jetta. It all depends whether or not we drive to where we would exchange.

Our home is in Cotati which is the gateway to the Sonoma County wine country on the 101 corridor. We are in a beautiful rural setting but less than a mile from Hwy 101 so there is easy access to almost everything that you might want to do. We are 45 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge, 30 minutes from Bodega Bay and the Pacific Ocean, less than 30 minutes from most of the major wine growing appellations of Sonoma County; Russian River, Carneros, Knight's Valley, Alexander Valley, Dry Creek, Sonoma Valley, etc.

There are many activities in the surrounding area. Golfing is less than three miles away and there is a pitch and put short course less than a mile away. Antiquing is a favorite pass time in the historic town of Petaluma, only eight miles away. There are giant redwoods to explore at Armstrong Grove State Park and Muir Woods. Visit the home of Jack London, the Pacific Air Museum, the home and laboratories of the famed botanist Luther Burbank in Santa Rosa. And of course there are more than 80 wineries to visit and experience.

Along with its wines, Sonoma County is home to some of the most adventurous and progressive chefs and culinary establishments in the United States. Because of the close proximity to the freshest ingredients available restaurants here are world renowned for the dishes they serve. Whether you enjoy French bistros, Italian cuisine, fresh seafood, steak houses, tacquerias, Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Vegan or any other type of epicurean extravaganza, you will be sure to find it in Sonoma County.
