Large, very comfortable home 15 minute walk from the Redondo Beach Pier. The ground floor has a living room with wood fireplace, study with wire and wireless hi speed internet access, a large bedroom with 2 queen beds and 40" HDTV, a full bathroom and a laundry room. There is a deck outside the back door with a propane barbeque. Upstairs has the master bedroom w/ queen bed and en suite bathroom, a small bedroom with a full bed, kitchen, living room with wood fireplace and 61" HDTV, dining area and water closet. There is a small balcony off the master bedroom with a beautiful view of the city lights by night and distant mountains by day. Nice sunset views from the upstairs living room/dining room. 6 person hot tub, dining area and fire pit area, with gas heaters in the back yard.

Our home is on a quiet, tree-lined street, close enough to all that Los Angeles has to offer, and far enough away to just sit back and relax. 15 minute walk (0.8 mile) to the Redondo Beach Pier; 2 miles to the Del Amo Fashion Square, with 18 movie theaters, 9 restaurants and hundreds of stores of all types; 3 miles from the Hermosa Beach nightclub scene; 9 miles from Los Angeles Int'l Airport; 22 miles from the theater district in down town Los Angeles, Hollywood and Santa Monica; about 30 miles from Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Six Flags Magic Mountain and Universal Studios amusement parks. Greetings! I'm Tom and my lovely wife is Joanie. We recently retired and are are ready to see the world! We have exchanged internationally to Australia, Ireland and Spain, and domestically to Tucson and Sedona, Arizona and Big Bear Lake and Sunnyvale, California. We thoroughly enjoy the home exchange experience. We hope to visit Venice, Italy for a week or two in late August through early September, 2013, and experience World Cup in Brazil in 2014 where we honeymooned 27 short years ago.
