There are two homes on the property. The main house has one master bedroom with king bed and separate bathroom, living room, dining room within the kitchen, nice deck off the dining room, downstairs bedroom with double bed, bathroom and little loft with single futon. The main house can sleep up to 5 people comfortably. It is 1400 sq ft (130 sq meters). We also have a lovely outdoor BBQ patio area and a new bocce ball court with additional deck and ocean view. There's also a jacuzzi on the dining room deck.

Aptos is a great little suburb of Santa Cruz only 5 minutes from the Rio del Mar beach and about 10 minutes from downtown Santa Cruz where you will find the boardwalk with amusement rides, great shopping and nightlife. Capitola beach is another little suburb of Santa Cruz that also has great shopping and dining and quaint beaches only 6 minutes away. Lots to do in this great area of northern California. I am a retired pilot and my wife is an accountant and we have a 20 year old daughter . We also have a darling 10 year old springer spaniel named Hershey and a great, but sometimes cranky 12 year old cat, Clause, who come with the house and we only ask that the animals are fed each morning and loved. We do quite a bit of traveling and thought a home exchange would be a great opportunity for us to see more places. We have done three non-simulatanous exchanges and now have extended family. We also have another home in Mammoth Lakes, CA that we would also consider doing a trade. We usually spend the winters there due to the incredible skiing. The summers in Mammoth are also wonderful for fishing, biking and hiking so if you're interested in seeing pictures of that house please let us know.
