Description of our house

We have a very lovely home with beautiful surroundings. There are 4 bedrooms, with a king size bed in the master and a queen size in the guest room. The other two bedrooms are set up as offices but we have a queen size aero bed which could be set up in either room. There are two and half baths. A large combination kitchen and family room and a formal living and dining room. We have a beautiful patio and back yard with BBQ and a side deck which has distant views of the ocean.

We live in a quiet suburban neighborhood. Historic downtown Ventura, which is a popular tourist destination, is only a 10 minute drive away. There are fabulous restaurants and shops and downtown is adjacent to our beautiful beaches which go for miles. Ventura Harbor is a 15 minute drive with additional shops, restaurants and activities. Channel Islands National Park is only a one hour ferry from the harbor. We are 60 miles north of Los Angeles and 25 miles south of Santa Barbara. Malibu, Santa Monica, Venice Beach and all Hollywood destinations are within an easy drive. Santa Ynez vineyards are only 90 minutes away. If you want to enjoy the outdoors and be in beautiful weather, than Ventura is your destination. Ventura's weather is mediterranean in nature with average highs in the 70's and low's in the 50's. We are retired and love to travel. We moved to Ventura 9 years ago after living in the Boston area for most of our lives. We moved to enjoy a more temperate climate and found it in Ventura. We enjoy visiting new areas as well as going back to places we have really enjoyed. We have done numerous exchanges so far and have really enjoyed the experiences and wish to do many more.
