3 bedroom, 3 bath home nestled in the redwood trees in upscale but casual suburban Mill Valley, a quaint and historical town with a central square. The house is very near downtown Mill Valley (5-10 minute walk), and offers sweeping views of Mount Tamalpais from all rooms of the house and the large deck. The home is on two levels, with: 1) A large living room with sweeping views of Mount Tamalpais. 2) Modern kitchen 3) Large deck with chaise lounges, gas grill and dining area 4) Dining area 5) A larger dining room for entertaining 6) Full bathroom 7) Office / guest bedroom 8) Master bedroom with queen size bed and master bath 9) Downstairs, another bedroom with 2 beds and full bathroom Other Amenities: TV, 80 channel cable, TiVo, DVD, Stereo, CD Changer High speed internet with WiFi. Our regular housekeeper comes every other Thursday. Fully equipped gourmet kitchen, outdoor barbecue area, Sporting equipment: 2 road bikes (Specialized Allez) 1 mountain bike (Specialized Stumpjumper Pro) 3 kids bikes (various sizes for 2-7 year olds) 1 boogie board (and a wetsuit for a 6 foot tall person)

The house is located on a residential street on a hill just above town. Neighbors are close by and very friendly, but the house also provides excellent privacy and quiet. A few of the many attractive local activities: ? Hiking, trail running, and mountain biking on Mt. Tamalpais is world class; mountain biking as a sport began on Mt. Tam. ? World class surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, and boogie boarding ? Sailing on SF Bay (boats are available for rent in Sausalito, or if you're not a sailor, charters and group sails are available as well). ? Hiking the redwood groves of Muir Woods, ? Married couple, Jack and Maureen, with 2 daughters, 5 and 3. We moved to San Francisco 18 years ago and fell in love with the area; we moved out of the city to Mill Valley 4 years ago because we love the outdoors and Mill Valley offers the ideal combination of close proximity to San Francisco and access to the natural beauty of the area. Jack is in commercial real estate finance, and Maureen is a restaurant consultant; the girls attend school. Our dog Kenya is a well behaved, non-shedding ridgeback mix (very small for her breed, about 65 pounds). She is extremely sedate during the day but likes to be walked daily; we generally bring her along for a 20 minute hike on Mt. Tam (trailhead is a few minutes walk from our house) each morning. We can have friends watch Kenya when we trade or you can enjoy a great pet.
